And I thought that after the ugly To the beach and Venomenous Villains packaging, it couldn't get any worse...

^No idea.. I'm not familiar with MSF's. I only own Soft&gentle and I never use it because it's way too sparkly :(.

I got an impeccable brow pencil in the shade taupe, which is a quite dark greyish brown. Surprisingly it is just the right shade . I never expected my brows to be so dark.

Also got the eyeshadow in satin taupe.

I got Very Important Platinum nail polish today ... wanted to get Soiree, but both dept stores were sold out of it. Why couldn't I have realized I needed it sooner? Side note ... when I asked for scotch tape the girl was convinced it was a color she hadn't heard of and started asking all her coworkers what it was :innocent:

PS I replaced my worn-out MAC powder brush with the one I saw recommended in Allure, the Sonia Kashuk (for Target) one that has a handle that looks kinda like black bamboo. I can't believe how great it is ... the MAC brush was never that good when it was new, I'm sure. (And don't believe them at the MAC counter when they say their brushes last a lifetime!!) The first day I used it one of my coworkers complemented my matte skin and asked if I knew it got very shiny later in the day  She seemed quite shocked when I said I knew & didn't care :p

Also, just switched to the Haute & Naughty mascara I bought last month. I really like it--finally, a decent MAC mascara!!! I've used better, but I can use these for b2m :innocent:

Bah ive decided I HATE the Studio Finish concealer...its just too creamy, i feel like it slides all over my face :(

Hm, and I think mine is too hard in the pan and quite dry. But it is stored in a very cold bathroom, maybe I should keep it in my (warmer) bedroom...

i wish mine was fleur ^ ...but see even on cool days plus the fact my city has very low humidity, its too much of a creamy feel.

The coverage is great BUT it feels too schmucky lol I want it to set and dry instantly and go on matte...am i reaching for the stars?

^ Have you tried Cle de Peau? You really don't want it to 'dry instantly' IMO, because then it's going to crack when you use your face ...

that makes sense...in my head it seems like it would be perfect as i only use mine to cover the tiny bump here and there and want it to stay put.

Hmm Cle de Peau sounds interesting, i have not...shall invesitage! Thank you!!

Ok, so I have a little question that would help me out a lot. They've opened some sort of mac store here in my country, although it seems more like a counter run by a big department store...I don't know, it's a little weird, but I stopped by today and bought 2 brushes. I've never bought mac brushes before so I'm concerned. I got a 228 and a 190. The 228 has 'france' engraved at the bottom, but the 190 has nothing, no country of origin engraved. While de 228 says 'made in france' on the packaging/sleeve, the 190 says 'assembled in usa'. What are the chances that the 190 is fake?
