I have Lipglass in many colours but I don't use them much because they are too sticky. I'm thinking to try lip gelees, can please someone tell me if they are sticky too and most importantly, if they last long enough?

what brush would u guys recommend for applying more dramatic color?

and what's a good under brow highlight color?

where did you want to appy the color? for the lid color, then the 239 or 242 since they're flat, they apply more color. for the crease, the 217 since it's denser(sp?) than the 224 so it applies more product

shroom is always a great color to use for the brow bone because it's neutral and doesn't have too much pink or yellow to it.
another good one is nylon which is frostier and has more of a yellow tone.

the lip gelees don't last as long as the lipglasses. the tackiness is what helps gloss stay on longer.

lustreglasses are kind of inbetween the two. not as tacky as lipglasses, but a little stickier than lip gelees.

Nylon makes me look sickly....
don't think it's good for pale people...
Mylar is a good brow bone highlighter, very netural.
But what I like best for myself is a special edition color, Sunday Best- a very light pink.
The pigments Fairylight and Golddust ( another limited) also make great highlithers, IMO.

I just bought 2 more eye shadows- Idol Eyes and Digit <3
When I went to buy it, everyone was in their crazy silver/teal makeup, and they were painting this girl teal from her face down to her shins (like capri length). Not really sure why they were doing that, but they always seem to have fun there, hehe :p

it was probably for their Lure Collection launch. we do things to bring more attention to the counter and to showcase the different products and skill :)

What is B2M?

B2M = Back to MAC. When you save 6 empty containers of MAC products (basically anything except wood pencils), bring back those 6 and you have your choice of any lipstick excluding ones that come in colored packaging like the viva glam lipsticks or collections like Lure where the packaging is different.

the items don't have to be empty either. if it's something that you know you're not going to use anymore, save it for b2m.

and it can be a mix of anything. like an e/s pot, a foundation bottle, a mascara tube, 2 lipsticks, and a lipgloss tube. but you only geta lipstick. :)

i just bought electric eel shadow.. cool color for clubbing! and i want WANT! the lure collection!! but so broke *tear*

lizzy - for the eye highlighting, some ppl recommend ricepaper. how does this color compare to the other two

Tushka they do this in SA too...but as I've moaned before,in many countries in Europe they don't.

I've bought two fluidliners too...the violet one from Lure and Delphine. I have a huge Lure collection now. Trouble is I so seldom wear bright make-up...but I couldn't resist these colours!

would anyone like to offer some advice? i don't normally wear eye make-up besides mascara and a bit of eyeliner, but would like to branch out a bit and as everyone raves about Mac eye products... which colour, and which form (eg shadow, paint) would you recommend to make my eyes 'jump out' from my face? they are large-ish, round, and greeny-blue and i have quite pale skin.

The containers have to be plastic. I tried to convince them that the plastic cap on the nail polish should make it eligible, but they haven't bought it yet  Also, I have gotten a Viva Glam via B2M ... some counters are less AR about the rules than others ;) I have seen people try to get by with 5 items, and haven't ever seen it work.

Well, I had seen all your raves about the Lure LE stuff, and then I saw the packaging in a magazine :crush: So I went to a couple different Nordstrom's this weekend, and not sure I've seen all of it yet as apparently it's selling like hotcakes and both stores were sold out of some of it (the first store was sold out of most of it). But I got an Idol Eyes eyeshadow and a Sex Ray lipglass, and really like both of them  I wish they had done blot powder in the Lure compact ... after all, that's a summer thing too :p

My fluidline just arrived...I'm gonna go try it out.

Great stuff! I orded non-comformist...a lovely purple, not too shocking.

I'm in love with the lure collection too! But I seem to have far too many make up products... and not much money. But I start working again next week :)

So is it better to apply foundation with a brush? I bough an sponge to apply the one I bought recently because I thought it was easier. I work wonders with eye make up (my eyes and very big, so I have plenty space to paint, lol), but it was my first contact with foundation.

Is MAC's brow-gel good? My eyebrows are a mess and the other product I used (from another brand) is nearly finished.

I use my fingers to apply foundation :p

The MAC brow gel isn't very strong. I got a recommendation of Rimmel here, and am planning to try that next.

I bought the amblified cream lipstick (colour: blankety) yesterday and it's very good! I love the shade and the texture!really moisturizing!
