Did anyone buy anything? I'm tempted by mineralize skinfinishes

I saw that in store today, and I had been really looking forward to it, but I was kind of disappointed None of the lipsticks worked for me, and the eyeshadows were kind of similar to ones they have already, so I didn't feel the rush to buy something that's limited edition. I do think it's a nice collection, but it's not for me unfortunately

I do like the mineralize skin finishes though, I'm really interested to see what Mac will do with mineral make up, and I think those would be excellent purchases

My cat ruined my MAC palette so half of the eyeshadows were broken into little pieces on the floor! So I'm thinking of starting fresh with my eyeshadows. Before I had blues, pinks, and grey, silver colors. Now I'm thinking of getting some pretty greens, gold, browns, and dark dark eyeshadows for my palette. Any suggestions on what eyeshadows I should pick?

For the lip gurus in the house, MAC has released their Slimshine Lipstick collection already online. Priced at $14.50 USD, they are scheduled to be available at counters and stores tomorrow.

In 13 shades:

Yep, they're permanent.

Gold: Gorgeous Gold, Rose Blanc
Browns: Woodwinked, Mulch, Satin Taupe

today i received a brochure type thing from MAC for Fafi, it has the Fafi drawings/photos on the outside with cutout stickers of the products inside. super cute.

i really like the makeup bags.

Realistically, I probably won't buy anything from this one...I'm a student. (Always tired/busy/sleeping/cheap!)

anyone tried the blush called "gingerly" before?
can it be used as a subtle bronzer?
cause i dont have very good hands when it comes to applying bronzers so it usually tends to look "dirty" when i apply'em myself lol

Greensmoke (dark and smoky) and Juxt (vibrant lighter green) are my favourite greens.

Satin Taupe is a must have for smoky brown.

Shale is lovely dark plum and Honey Lust is a nice lighter gold.

gold: Goldmine (Vanilla Pigment, yes, no e/s but the most beautiful Gold shimmer...)
dark dark: Carbon, Plumage, Beauty Marked, Deep truth

try Margin or Trace Gold if you are pale. both work great as a bronzer.

I heard March 27th...I am excited for this collection because there will be new glitter double ended eyepencils.

I couldn't have said it any better miu_miu. I was excited to see this collection and when I got into the store and they only had 6 shadows, a few lipsticks and the mineralize skin finishes.

I didn't see the slimshines or fafi in store yet...I really want to try the slimshines; the colors look promising.
