I picked up the Slimshines in Bare & Ultra Elegant today. I really like them!!

I got to play around with the Fafi collection today and I'm underwhelmed. I wasn't crazy about any of the palettes, lipsticks, lipglasses, etc. I did buy the Paint Pot in Girl Friendly which is a nice dirty pink; I think it will be versatile and can easily be worn on its own. (I also got Pink Mink shadow) I didn't really check out the Slimshines because Mr. Hipkitten was waiting patiently for me to finish up after my "makeover" - they looked lovely though and I will probably end up with more than a few. I hope Heatherette is more impressive - my pocketbook, however, does not

I asked a make-up artist about the discounts and she said as a model if I show my comp card at MAC boutiques I can get 20% off. As a make-up artist, she gets 40% off. MAC isn't the only company that does this. But it is mostly the individual boutiques, Sephora will not discount.

I had no idea they did this. I'm going to tell my sister (she's a model). I'm sure she'd be interested in it.
