I want the Smokey, Classic and Cool eyeshadow palettes, the purple MES trio & the eyeliner set from Red She Said

I will be getting the pigment and then the Reflects glitters from Metal Urge, the coral and pink lipglass sets, and the party bag (it's #7 lashes, a mini Zoomlash, and a couple other things...it's a Nordie's exclusive). Also I want Red She Said lipstick, since it is an Amplified after all and I love that finish. I will CCO hopefully both the Classic and Cool eye palettes though. The new pigment is called Spiritualize and it is supposedly a "yellow green with silver and gold pearl". Gold Mode and Cocomotion are being promoed. Luckily on the glitters, I have Very Pink already, and I am hopefully getting Blackened Red when I do my Manish Arora order. Honestly though...I had much higher hopes for the Little Darlings. I was hoping for potentially a little Liquidlast set, or maybe paint pots with a 242SE.

And don't forget, next week Suite Array launches (eyeshadow "suites" and Pearlglide liners), as well as Ungaro (lots of neutrals/mattes...supposed to be a very ageless collection) and Gold Fever (Nordie's exclusive).

Are you considering getting any of the Ungaro collab Trista ?

I really wanted the beige Paint Pot that was supposed to come out with Ungaro but I hear that it isn't being released and being replaced with Ploof! eyeshadow instead. Bummer!

I have my eye on Mineral e/s from the collection as well as the purple e/s which I forget the name of.

Are you considering getting any of the Ungaro collab Trista ?

The only thing I really have an interest in is the Beauty Powder, but I am holding off because a) I have so little money thanks to getting no hours, b) I am waiting for the MSF's, and c) it will end up at the CCO eventually. I'm not taking any chances with the MSF's though, because I want two of Petticoat and then at least one So Ceylon. I also am getting everything from Manish Arora, and I need more blush-blush, not beauty powder.

The rest of Ungaro though...I hate the shadow finishes, I don't do light lips, and while I love CCB's I need ones for the eyes, since that is mainly where I use them. However, I will pick up Crushed Bouganvillea if it's at the CCO because I do want a cheek colour.

May I add that I am also trying to fill a Pro Palette as we speak? I have just Crystal Avalanche (because it's the first shadow I'm ever going to finish), Creme de Violet, and Juiced. I know I am getting at least Beauty Marked, Trax, and MAYBE Parfait Amour. I really wish that they had a normal, non-mineralize version of the light pink side of Engaging MES-I love that.

As far as Gold Fever goes, I am getting Silver Fog pigment and that is it, because I need a silver, and while I do want Gold glitter, I have Marigold and I never use it, and Marigold better matches my Halloween costume. I already have Golden Lemon (sadly, I never reach for it) and 3D Silver (again, rarely ever use it).

Well my main goal is eventually to get all of the 2004 Adorn palettes-they were the best holiday palettes as far as packaging goes (simple, they were either green, pink, or lavender, with the MAC logo in crystals). I have two (the 4 Dazzle and Gem Eyes), and with all of the specialty ones that were done for Sak's or Nordie's, there are at least 8 in all.

So Ungaro is NOT coming out tomorrow after all. The only things launching at all counters are the Cremesheen lipsticks (permanent) and then Suite Array. Ungaro has been pushed back to the 9th.

I'm hoping ungaro comes out in the UK around the same time. I can't remember what the MA at my counter told me.

I'm curious about Suite Array, I've heard the colour payoff isn't so good, but they all look so prettty.

I'm glad Cremesheen is perm, means I don't have to bankrupt myself to buy it now!

It's definitely interesting, because it is rare that changes are made THAT late. The rumour had been swirling around though for awhile that there would be no Paint Pot...I'm surprised that they pulled it THIS late though. I think they pushed it back in order to redo the displayer...just a hunch though.

I do really want the pink ungaro lipstick, but the whole range strikes me as a very summery collection, even down to the promo, I would have expected them to be bringing out the more graphic sultry looks at this point.

I guess so-it's in all the promotional images...poor Tallulah.

Suite Array did not impress me today-it just seemed too boring. I can see the suites selling very well to the average makeup buyer however for those of us who are seriously into makeup, don't waste your money. The Pearlglide liners are okay, there is definitely a decent amount of glitter in them all right, but none are really must-haves. Bankroll and Black Russian are the two best of the bunch.

Cremesheens look okay, but there aren't enough bright shades for those of us bright fans. It is, again, definite everyday wear stuff. I might cave and get Brave Red eventually though.

Gold Fever is a ton of repromos, yes...however it's a really good way to repromote them, since many people who shop at Nordie's don't have access to a freestanding MAC store. A lot of people love Sharkskin (Shadestick) and since it was recently discontinued, this is a good opportunity to get it. It is definitely a good collection as a lead into the holidays as well as Halloween.

I ended up getting Silver Fog as well as the Gold glitter (it only comes about 2/3 packed, and it's not chunky like 3D Silver but not as fine as the Reflects glitters) and then a 210 brush, which is absolutely amazing. Figure I had to pick up a full-sized brush...

I agree with what you've said there Trista. Although I'm not the mac expert you are, I follow them closely enough to see a pattern, and I've been quite disappointed by this years promo's, there's nothing exciting at all. I want make up that makes me feel a thrill by its intensity, but this is just....office work wear.

Honestly, the only collection that I am excited for everything in is Manish Arora, but it's because I love the colours and the packaging. Apparently at a Pro event the other day in NY, it sold out in 15 minutes. Yes, it's mostly repromos-Pink Swoon, Devil, Girl About Town, Pink Manish (which is apparently Malibu Barbie), and then all of the eyeshadows-but it is the best packaging for a collection since Lure-or if we want to go further back, the Adorn palettes. I am excited for Metal Urge, due to a new pigment and then Reflects glitters (I plan on getting Blackened Red with my Manish Arora order-but the others I want are Purple Duo and then Bronze), but the only Liquidlast I would want is Visionaire and it kicks around the local CCO. Who knows, the Ungaro shadows could end up being decent-if only they had done veluxe pearls though instead of satins and a matte.

It will be interesting though to get the final details on Chill and the Dame Edna project (which is rumoured to be either Icon or an Originals-style collection). I have a feeling that Chill will have a shadow quad.

Black Russian is the only thing out of the recent launches that has held my attention. I'm passing on Ungaro and probably Manish...I'd only end up staring at that eye palette.

If I get anything from Gold Fever, it will be a shadestick.

But knowing how quick the weather turns here from mediocre to cold and crappy, I might end up doing more MAC shopping than I usually would, what with the stores being all warm and inviting...
