I think that they are intending you use the 165 with it, which looks to be more fluffy, meaning that you won't get as heavy of a look with it.

As for Hello Kitty, I am going to an event, it's just like an unveiling but without the alcohol-meaning that I won't get my stuff early I'm quite the person to deal with, as I love pigments and I do crazy eye looks and I will NOT get out of there without Romping being used on me.

i called my local mac store and asked them if they were having an event for hello kitty. she said they werent (im not sure if they were being coy or notunsure:
but she did say they were scheduling makeover appointments starting on the 15th for HK. (HK is relased the 12th)...i said but what if a lot of the HK colors are going to sell out? she said they werent counting on it.

so maybe this stuff about a waiting list is all hype...

maybe ill call back with a different voice...hmmn.

I went to a MAC counter the other day & asked the makeup artist to help me find a darker shadow to use in the corners with Forgery/Silver Ring. She suggested Knight (Dark Knight? I forget) & I picked Black Tie for her to try. When she handed me the mirror I could not believe my eyes--she had created these black gashes on my eyes, I could not tell the difference between the two colors based on what she did (!) & I told her I looked like Morticia. So I just tried them on my hand & went with my own pick. I would have fixed it myself but I was headed home so I figured it didn't matter. She said she was going to even it out, and as I was headed out I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror & I looked bruised. A couple people appeared to be staring Then when I got home, I read her business card & she is actually the MAC Business Manager at that store (as well as a "Makeup Artist") I have to say this is the most incompetent MAC employee I have ever encountered

^MAC foundations are said to be very very clogging...the primer too.

I use both the primer and the Select foundation, and find them to both be perfect for my skin. Even after an 8-hour work day my skin is still glowing. I guess it all depends on your skin type, really.

My point is that a lot of people find the primers and foundations very clogging - it may work for some, but it seems that the majority experiences breakouts. I haven't tried neither of them myself, I don't wear foundation.

One of the primers definitely clogged my skin ... Alejandro told me I should try the other one. Of course the other real problem with primer is it adds another step & life is too short

Yeah I thought they were going to do a waitlist...as for events, it's mainly larger stores that do them, and I have a feeling the closer of the two FS stores will not be anymore only because the one south is larger, and could spill out into the mall if needed.

I doubt that a lot of Hello Kitty will sell out at first. It probably will be a couple of the lip things, and maybe some of the beauty powders. I have a feeling that the TLC's might also go fast. The accessories will stay around, though. There's a discrepancy about the Reflects though-they are usually $17.50 and not $19.50. The Too Dolly quad MAY sell out, because it looks like Too Dolly is similar to Mood Ring from the Heatherette Trio 1.

Also the brush set is the 129, 187, and 239 in SE form, along with a brush cup for the $49.50 price. I think come the 4th, we will know whether or not it's worth getting-as the holiday brush sets for 2008 were garbage from what I had heard.

^That's a misprint. It's actually Too Dolly eyeshadow that is mint. Strayin' lipstick is more of a rosy pink.

Yeah they wouldn't do a mint lip colour...

For some reason, I am really wanting the Too Dolly quad, but I am hoping that people say I can pass on it. I know I would not use Yogurt, but I really want Romping. Would it be best for me to get the Too Dolly quad, to try for Romping on eBay, or hope that the CCO gets the quad in? I do have a giftcard coming from a friend that will cover some of my Hello Kitty wants, but I am trying to not get both Tippy and Pretty Baby. (I find it funny that within a year BOTH the Diana Ross beauty powders have been repromoed)
