I think it seperates perfectly and makes for beautifully long, natural looking lashes.

Can someone reccomend a good light brown (maybe) mascara for me? I have very fair eyelashes and I've truthfully never worn mascara a lot, although I do curl my lashes. I just want something that will make them a little more noticeable, but I think if I get a regular brown or black shade it will just be too jarring. :flower:

Giorgio Armani has great mascara's in brown:flower:

^ I see barely any difference there

That's exactly what I want from a mascara, to be invisible. I've naturally long lashes but they are pale so the mascara should make them "visible" without making it obvious. I hate mascaras that make my lashes look clumpy and made up.

then new clinique bottom lash mascara is PERFECT! I even made a blog post about it a couple of weeks ago. You should try it.

I was a devoted fan of Lancome Virtuose, then my cousin put me on to Clinique High Definition and now I am converted! The trick is to wipe the brush on a tissue before you apply it, and that gets rid of the excess so that you can feather it on. It lasts all day, doesn't smudge, and if you build it in layers it gives the longest, thickest lashes you've ever seen!

The best mascara I've ever used is Maybelline's Volum' Express Turbo Boost. It stays on forever, and gives me thick, long lashes. No matter which other brands I try, I always go back to that one.

best mascara ever is lancome hypnose. it seriously looks like false lashes. i have one of those, clinique lash doubling and mac dazzlelash on the go. lash doubling is ok, it gives nice length and seperation but it transfers after a few hours. the dazzlelash irritates my eyes a little but is an ok day mascara. hypnose is just..perfect!

It looks a bit too false for me. If you have naturally long lashes it tends to look rather weird.

i think hypnose makes lashes too glumpy looking and dont separate them well. that mascara is not for my type of lashes-

I just bought Lancome Hypnose Precious Cells that promises to turn the lashes naturally fuller and longer by the time we wear it... I started to wear it every day to see if the magic happens

I think I mentioned this in the 'Budget Friendly Makeup' thread, but I've now been using it for a few weeks and wow, a major thumbs up to Covergirl's Lash Perfection Mascara! I've personally found that LashBlast flakes off (a lot) on me, but not this one! One coat looks super natural, but it also builds up so nicely. No clumping or flaking! I highly recommend this!

I have short, straight lashes and seriously can't live without L'oreal Double Extend Mascara. It makes my lashes long and thick. I've tried so many (Dior show, Lancome hypnose etc.) and they don't stand a chance.

Was giving my HG mascara Diorshow, a break and was testing out the YSL Faux cils and Givenchy Phenomen .The YSL was okay at separating but no drama or or length as for the Givenchy one, it really lengthen my lashes but in a spidery way, which I don't mind but sadly both of them transfer under my eyes. For some reason I can't rap my head around that but definitely going back to Dior.

Does anyone know of a good waterproof mascara that gives a lot of volume and length? Only wear mascara when I go out, but I think I might be allergic to it because my eyes ALWAYS water and destroy half of my makeup:( I use YSL faux cils, but it doesn't matter which one I use, they always water..

I also experienced a reaction to Faux Cils, I believe it was because of the strong fragrance. It was such a bummer, as I loved the way that mascara made my lashes look! If Maybelline's Full 'n Soft is available in your country, I would go for that. They have a waterproof formula as well. It gives length and volume, builds up well, and doesn't clump up. Covergirl's LashBlast waterproof is also good, I haven't reacted to that one (however, I wouldn't recommend the regular formula, which flaked off like crazy on me). If you really want to use a department store brand, I'd go with Shiseido. They don't make waterproof mascaras (I'm not sure whether that's what you're after), but none of them flake, run, or smudge at all.

I wear Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Feline Blacks and so far it's the best mascara i've own. It gives great volume, lengh and it is waterproof.

You could try it, I highly recommend it!

I tired Lancomes, YSLs, Chanels, Diors and I decided to come back to good old Max Factor's Masterpiece Max.
