The Mascara Thread

I do wonder how much the formula and how much the brush matter individually. I have a huge range of mascaras, givenchy, ysl, dior, lancome etc etc. Anyway, recently I bought Elizabeth Ardens Ceramide mascara, which doesn't claim to do much except condition your lashes. Well I got exactly what I needed from that mascara and there's no fancy brush, nothing, just a brilliant formula that separates, curls amazingly and holds all day in a deep black pigment.

I really am just a total sucker for advertising.

I think crealine h20 from Bioderma is the best
They use it on fashion shows
For me its a really great product

Has anyone tried that new curling hypnose mascara by lancome?

I've always been a fan of Hypnose as find it gives me volume and lengh, so when this one came out (Hypnose Drama, hope it's the one you're asking about) i wanted to give it a go just to see the difference between one and another.Basically it's the same effect but 10x more ,only with 2 coats which i think it's great, so bought it straight away :D

When it comes to mascara, how long should you have each tube? Cause the longer the you have it, it doesn't do it's job properly and I heard that bad bacteria forms or something like that id you use it for a long time.
Also, has anyone tried using baby oil for mascara removal? I had no makeup remover around the house so I used baby oil and it worked really well I think. :)

Has anyone tried the newer version of Phenomen'eyes yet? I forget the name, something Effect? I saw it in Sephora today but I just got a new tube of regular Phenomen'eyes so I didn't buy it but I want to know if it really does more...I love the regular one though and I can't imagine it making them even longer! lol

What is the best mascara remover that you guys use?

Estée Lauder gentle eye makeup remover, doesn't sting and is truly gentle on the eyes while it does remove any stubborn eye makeup.
I love it though it doesn't work as well in any sort of waterproof products.

I like using the Shu Uemura cleaning oils to remove mascara.
My favorite mascara is still Maybelline Full 'n Soft...keep trying others but always go back. Just bought a tube of L'Oreal's new Hydra Collagen, it's pretty good too. The brush is very similar to the Full 'n Soft but bigger.

3/TEXAS LASH CARGO:p
WEARIN MAX FACTOR FALSE LASH EFFECT ON THE PIC

Really, I tried it but it was too wet and uncurled my lashes after I curled them. Do I maybe have to wait for it to thicken up ?

Actually it doesn't hold a curl that well, but I find that all the other good things with it makes up for that. It really is the best thing I've ever tried, I use a lot of mascara and need one that gets really long and thick at the same time.
