And Dana, yes, I know exactly the one you're talking about, I believe it's the first mascara I bought for myself (as usually my mom bought me products since she knew what was good and what wasn't ) in my teens i didn't know they still made them! I'll have a look tomorrow

loonaka: YES! I love DiorShow because it really is the best in terms of lengthening, thickening and separating your lashes, BUT it's one of the worst mascaras in terms of raccoon eyes, that's true. And since I hate waterproof makeup (silly, I know), I try to be extra careful when I wear it because despite this little setback, I think it's one of the best mascaras for my eyes... As for the running part well... on the bright side, I think it gives your face a certain... dramatic edge after you've been crying

That's exactly why I hate them Can't wash them off, and almost as runny as the regular macaras!

Hey ladies, what about MAC mascaras? any good? I love the brand, never tried their mascara!

Yeah I've tried one of the MAC mascaras and it was ok but it didn't do anything more than a cheap drugstore one so to me it's not worth the money. they aren't bad, but not that good either.
I love Lancome mascaras but they dry out way too fast for my liking. I can't justify spending like $30 on a mascara that will be dried up in just a few weeks.

thanks dana, i guess it could be a side purchse when i buy my next diorshow. i just know i am going to wat it but then im going to be scared of just getting that one and being left with a mascara i am not happy with.

Hahahahaa you mean the mascara would melt on your face?
That happens a lot when I wear eye pencil, thats why I never wear it. I didn't find a way to avoid that catastrophe

Yeah that used to happen to me too, but using a good primer under the eye makeup helps alot IMO

^ Yes, MAC's "Zoom Lash" mascara is the one i'm referring to, I haven't tried the others they could be crap

I tried Zoomlash once. It made my lashes so stiff that they could have easily broken off. It also made my lashes pin-straight. I've never ever used so bad a mascara in my entire life (and that includes Maybelline Great Lash, which I though was the worst mascara ever)

People have been raving so much about the Diorshow iconic and I can't remember if I had one before like a long time ago, but I know that there was a reason why I hadn't bought one before, and of course it was..I get black rings under my eyes every time I use it..but my lashes looks great, tho no one is looking since I have a panda face.

I think MAC are possibly the worst mascaras I've ever used! Which is weird as the rest of their makeup is great. For me I think Diorshow Iconic (way less crumbly than Diorshow) and most of the Lancome mascaras are the best. In fact I think mascara is what Lancome do best.
