The Most Boring Fashion Shows Ever

Chanel.

Chanel shows are the epitome of excess that amounts to nothing: throwing millions on sets, top models, yet the results are always so flat. It's like a George Lucas movie where it's all CGI with a lot of action and big explosions, yet the actors in them are always so lifeless and bored because there's no direction for them to follow.

Great designers like McQueen, Gaultier and Galliano create a brand new world for their shows; the models live and breathe into their characters, and the audience experience their unique vision every time.

Most of the Prada show. they are always boring
chanel show have really bad mood, the clothes are boring+boring music+bad models= bad/boring shows
the only only decent one i remember was the cruise one that Natasha open cant remember the season

Yeah, Chanel is really boring. Seeing over 100 tweed, boxy, ill-fitting garments coming down the runway is already bad, but the music to Karl's shows usually makes it worse. I also find the new Valentino shows are good substitutes for sleeping pills

I can't say agree with you on Prada, but Chanel produces the most BORING shows of all. I don't understand the fascination people have towards such a stale brand. I think they're drawn to the circus of the show rather than the actual clothing.

alonsoJonathan: With Prada, it really depends on the collection: When she has a new silhouette-- or at least an interesting one, and she shows the collection in a great venue, I'm captivated by the presentation, even if it never is anywhere near a theatrical statement. Because with Prada, she knows how to balance innovation and wearability; practicality with luxury, and commerce with artistry.

At her best (A/W 2009 and A/W 2011 for example), she has refined the Prada signature just enough to offer something new with something slightly otherworldly but still accessible. That's her charm at her best. However, the S/S collection was a total bore to me, because it had none that the above.

I totally agree with Chanel. I remember I used to enjoy Chanel shows- the music, the models, the clothes, etc. Now it's so blah and that long-ass runway aint helpin either.

not all chanel shows are boring but yeah most of them are.

resort 2011 was good :D
the venue on the SS11 was amazing too,n it wasnt a bad show IMO.

not shows that i dont even bother watching Balenciaga,CK,Miu Miu i never can watch more than 1 or 2 minutes i just cant.

I know everybody will hate me for sayin, but I find the Dior shows boring as well. And Gucci. Always same look, same casting, same music, same mood etc...
