The most exciting thing in Fashion in 2025 is...

Nothing really. I lost track with the extreme corporate takeover, I don’t care one bit about it and don’t consider these decisions or even the conversation around it fashion per se.. my interest and energy for fashion is alive and well but it has completely shifted towards finding gems from my favorite collections from the past and wearing them and seeing friends do the same and talking about it lol.
It’s so sad how we got here. But It is what It is.

The most exciting thing is the creative appointments that have revitalized a lot of discussions across different forums on TFS for me.

For me tfs went through a period of deadness, even during fashion weeks to the point where I thought if @vogue28 or @LadyJunon didn’t start the thread for a designer, the discussion wouldn’t happen. Even after they added the show pictures which was I’m sure is a tedious task, there still wouldn’t be a discussion for sometimes even the big houses.

So the most exciting thing for me is actually how tfs had a rebirth and I get to discuss fashion in ways not always available in person with people who have the same scope of knowledge and deep interest

^^^I believe a part of the resurgence is due to us collectively witnessing the cracks in the industry widening. It’s a way for us to vent our dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs. This forum has always been a platform where people can discuss the real issues in fashion. We add nuance and don’t sugarcoat the harsh truths. Most fashion news outlets these days are utterly ridiculous and a complete waste of time. I’ll always adore this community.
