If our planet ONLY contained tFSers, I'd be the cheapest person on the planet. I can understand and love lots of expensive stuff, but I'd never spend over 500$ for a piece of clothing........

Self esteem issues. If you can't get the "approval" of those around you in real life, you can always search for it on the internet.![]()
The internet: a place where the poor can be rich, men can be women, the old can be young.... And few would know the difference.

No, you wouldn't be the cheapest. You'd be in good company. There are a lot of us thrifty folk hiding in the shadows around here!

No offence, but would she really have the time to reply to a newbie asking a simple if not childish question, when the regulars have all in turn asked her the same sort of question in the past?Originally posted by miss_T@Oct 7 2004, 06:39 PM

Yah to be honest, I’d think it more peculiar for someone with no other use for a digital camera, to buy one to prove themselves to some strangers. That is the person who feels the need be popular online. That is the person I’m not sure I’d like to meet.Originally posted by MaLkAv@Oct 7 2004, 09:09 PM
about the Chanel_girl with the Dior couture dress... why should her HAVE to prove you anything? I think it's very childish to ask... and by the way in the world there MUST be someone who buys those dress, or they would quit making them... right right?

Besides, I could see more pleasure in pretending online... than in accusing online...
