I think Taylor and Brad are both annoying in their own way...I really don't think she should be as hard on Brad, he clearly wants to learn and being a beyotch to him is stupid. Although Taylor does seem to have a softer side when you warm to her...

Anyway the fact that Rachel can just go into Decades and go crazy like that buying is sick...damn that must be cool...

I don't get why she is branding...she could make a fortune and gain more respect if she continues styling. I mean the wait-list to be one of her clients has to be one of the most enviable in the world for a stylist...

She wont give Brad any tasks or teach him anything and then she yells at him for not "figuring it out" and "being proactive". I like Rachel and Brad so far, I never had a real opinion of her but she seems like a nice/ laid back person to work with. Brad seems like he will be a cool person to deal with as well. And as far as the branding issue, yes the market is saturated with celebrity lines but she is obvioulsly thinking about making more moner and whats wrong with becoming a household name?

Totally agree. She (Tay) knows that Brad comes from an editorial background and even if he had previous experience working for a stylist, she cannot expect him to know how everything is run at 'Camp Zoe.' Different business = different practices & methods.

I personally found her abrasive and unprofessional. I hope we'll see a lighter side in the coming weeks.

I saw the first ep this afternoon and - except for Taylor - LOVED it!! Ive never had a problem with Rachel Zoe (though I do think she could stand to gain a few lbs and cut back a bit on the tanning ); I really like her style, know she works very hard, and Ive never been totally convinced that she 'deserved' all the negative press she's gotten. IMO she came off quite well in this first ep, and I am really looking forward to seeing all the rest~

(Im especially curious to know which photo shoot caused her to miss a loved one's funeral. I wonder if it was the one for Bazaar?)

The first episode was too saturated with the Taylor/Brad problem.

I wanted to see more of Rachel!!!

I hate the whole Taylor 'style associate' subplot!! The Rachel + Brad bits are the best.
