Which is still a ton of money for a dress!!!

I think it's a little story line created for the show.

And i guess with her income it really is not that much, plus its also part of her job, another reason to covet it.

I really liked tonight's episode, it was deep. I thought it was nice to show another side of rachel other than the business side, people need to see that just because she is in the fashion business doesnt mean she's superficial. Her breakdown really got me- it's obvious that fashion is her one true passion but on the other hand is family, and nothing comes before family. Great episode.

I think this lady has put herself under a great deal of pressure, because of what she does and the constant demands from the entertainment/fashion industry. Her assistant Taylor has got to go!

She would never talk to me in that tone or act the way she acts toward her employer. In the next episode she is giving Rachel an ultimatum (her or Brad). She would never, ever attempt to try and give me any type of directive. My thing is you work as a team or you're out. She probably wants to start her own business anyway, she acts like she can't stand Rachel. You can't trust a broad like that....she would be the one making connections with potential clients behind your back. This chick is very shifty and she definitely needs to do something about that rats nest she called a hair-do.

I think she earns enough to keep herself and her entourage afloat.

I mean if you think about it - she has to pay both Brad and Taylor - and after all the expenses shes incurs for travelling, hotel stays etc etc. AND the expensive clothing.

I'm guessing this motivates her to keep working. She said so herself in the show!!

Soooo many people spend wayyyyy beyond their means and I believe she is doing the same. I know she hoping that clothing/accessory line takes off. But the way the financial state of this country is right now and the weakening dollar......this sure ain't good timing. She is trying to "brand" herself and bring in fatter paydays obviously, and if she wants to keep up with that lifestyle she portraying in this reality series, that is exactly what she will need to do! Now, how it all pans out is another story.

I think it looks modest when compared to most homes in the Hollywood Hills. It's beautiful but not too over-the-top...I like it a lot.

I don't think it's modest, it's clean, and that's completely different. All the furniture is good and that dinner table, made special for them, must cost a lot of money... Her room it's all Missoni, not the most expensive fabrics but they aren't cheap too.

The big difference between her house and most of Hollywood houses, it's that her house it's clean, made by someone with good taste and the dimensions are appropriated for her family and her life style; the house feal her needs and she even have a place to work in there. Why make her bigger, just to make some showoff?!? she knows who she is, where she came from and were she goes, (well it seans she's quite confuse about were she goes...) she doesn't need to pretend!!!

most of the other houses, that are really new rich style, belongs to persons that buy gold&leopard furniture like if they live in a palace our if they get them from them blue blood family, as if they came from a traditional good family.
They make houses for 10 familys with 10 rooms that no one use it, homecinemas with 1000000000....chairs just for a couple. In my opinion that's ridiculous!!!
