Rachel Zoe Reportedly Attempted to Blacklist Taylor Jacobson

Last year, fans of Rachel Zoe's reality show The Rachel Zoe Project were shocked when Zoe's right-hand lady Taylor Jacobson announced her departure from the stylist's team. While Taylor admittedly endured a lot of criticism and body-snarking on the show, she had been working in close-contact with Zoe for four years by the time she left her post.

Apparently Zoe didn't take Taylor's decision too well, either. A source told Fashion Week Daily, "She basically wasn’t happy about Taylor leaving on her own terms and felt like she should have fired Taylor herself. There were a lot of e-mails and calls that were placed to big houses with the intent of keeping Taylor away, which is ironic because Taylor did about 85% of the work in the company."

But that isn't the worst of it: the source claims Zoe even told Taylor's hairstylist to cut ties. "Taylor’s stylist called her and said that she could only do her hair from home after a Zoe freak-out."

Meanwhile, Jacobson has just launched a new blog, Love, Taylor, in which she runs down her style favorites - independently.

I doubt that's true. Rachel's a pretty established business woman, she doesn't need Taylor to survive. In my opinion, while she may have been unappreciated, Taylor was completely unprofessional and her attitude should have gotten her fired a long time ago. I wouldn't be surprised if it's her feeding the gossip, since after leaving Zoe, she's pretty much lost relevance.

We've been obsessed with Taylor and Brad since they first showed the world their great style as Rachel Zoe's doting assistants on Bravo's The Rachel Zoe Project.
