The Row - The All-Things The Row Thread

^ haha frenchy. Just a warning - when I called Barneys in NY the lady was so rude. I said I wanted some Row pieces and she said, "What? So have you even tried them on?" then when I told her I had the style numbers and knew exactly what I wanted she tried "You have style numbers? Well what do you think I have? I don't have any style numbers!" and I pressed on and told her they are usually found on the tag and she said, "I don't have any tags, all I have is the tag that I scan hanging around my neck". I was wtf? ater this and just hung up. I called Barneys SF after and the SA there was so nice. She knew exactly what she was talking about and described every piece they had in store for me :)

This is just my experience - I'm sure there are much nicer SAs in New York so I hope I haven't disheartened anyone by sharing :)

^ Do these people realize that they kind of represent a store? Seriously.. Anyway, thanks for sharing this with us cathypamo. :flower: I think i'll just wait this summer or i'll ask to a friend

I know I NEVER understood while sales people can be so rude...to quote absolutely fabulous "you only work in a shop you know, you can drop the attitude"

^^wow, that's so rude of the barney's lady

i think i'll have to wait until i go to the US too, import duty is so crazy in europe

^haha.

I bought some Row stuff recently for holiday gifts for friends, and there is one amazingly sweet sales person on that floor who I have dealt with a few times for the same purpose. I cannot remember her name, if I can find it I will post so all the internationals/other phone order people can just deal with her. Otherwise, def call out of NY, even if they have to locate it from another store, they are always nicer at Boston, SF, even LA.

Does Jeffrey in Atlanta stock The Row??? If so, that would be great - I could go there and try things on over a weekend (I go to school like 3 hours away)!!!

Does anyone know if Barneys in Texas stocks them? Could someone please call them for me? :flower: It's so hard to hear over the phone when I call from Australia.

Can anyone please tell me what fabric these are made out of?
