Do they still produce those dresses? I love them. Don't recall seeing them at Barney's when I was there....

Ps on the front page there is the original article that started this thread which was Ashley Olson's plaid jacket - did that ever get produced? it was a great piece

^that's what I thought. Maybe because The Row isn't insanely popular you know..

Maybe. But i don't know if she bought it and how much she did because that'd annoy me to sell something i bought quite a lot and only get a few dollars out of it.

she says in the description she got it for free. It's just a starting bid. It'll go up I imagine. Is this dress still available?

the dress is not from SS08. I am guessing it is from the FW07 collection if i remember.
she does say in the listing that it is a gift from the row. she gave too much of a description of modal and made me loose interest half way down the listing
i would ask for more pictures :)

^my thoughts exactly. too much info on modal and hardly anything on the dress.

Plisskin You look great in the shirt. I think I love your glasses more than the shirt though:)

they have the long dresses at barneys in sf, but they're short sleeved....
like leyla said, i think the long sleeve ones are from f/w...
they look really great for summer, but i wonder if you need to be taller to wear them...

kimair, i was asking myself the same thing. I like the dress but I'm only 5'3 and I'm not sure If can pull of longer dresses.

The auction description says it's that long because the idea is that the wearer should get it tailored to fit her own height perfectly.

Is Matches currently the only online store to sell The Row? Browns doesn't have any. It's so typical that the clothes are super marked up in the UK, which seems to be the only place I could get something from. If some US store started selling their t-shirts I'd snatch one up in a second :p

Hi Leyla - I tried on the boy's blazer yesterday at Le Bon Marche - is it the one called "Bond Street..." ? - It was a nice fit and cut but tres expensive. You don't have the USD recommended retail price for this piece?

Or anyone know if any retailers in Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX are stocking The Row? As I'm going to be passing through these states in July...

Barney's in Dallas also stocks some Row pieces (I've really only seen the tees and tanks lately, but once I saw the long dresses right after the collection was released).

I like the look of the Row, but it's nothing original, and considerably overpriced. Companies like Nation Ltd. offer the same soft, flowing silhouettes, and in fact are WORN by the Olsen twins. I paid $50 for my Naiton Ltd a-line v-neck, whereas the Row's is over $150, if I remember correctly.

what is the biggest size that the row fits? in america sizes..like what american size would their large fit?

kimair, i was asking myself the same thing. I like the dress but I'm only 5'3 and I'm not sure If can pull of longer dresses.

give it a try, velony. the olsens are both petite and look gorgeous in floor length pieces. if you make sure that the lines of the overall look are clean, you'll look fantastic! :D

My ex just called to tell me that both girls were at South Street Diner in Boston a few hours ago. I can't believe they were in my city (AGAIN) and I missed them (AGAIN)...did they have a trunk show for the row here like in Dallas a few weeks ago? Anyway, thought you'd all like to know...
