yeah I never really worry about my height with long pieces. It's just about getting this tailored to fit you correctly. There are a lot of great examples, the Olsens included, of short women wearing long dresses, etc. I would never know if I look short anyway since I only see myself from my angle :lol:
 
i got the leather leggings shipped from barneys chicago today and they are BEYOND small, they sent me a P, which is xs, so there will be no hope .. do i send it back to chicago or will barneys here accept the return?

will you have the small or medium ones? or will you just return them?
how were they otherwise? ^_^ sorry for questions hehe
 
Uniq, Barney's here will take your return. I'm sad they didn't work out, I am dying to see a "real" person in them...
 
dont know its weird about sizing... i have one of their pants in a P which is the smallest and it fits, but the leather leggings wouldnt go past my hips :(..but they do look fabulous...I can always ask them if they have a bigger size...if not I just have to return it..thanks MJ, I'll pass by today
 
Ah, that's too bad. If I were you I'd ask them for a bigger size esp. as you seem to like them. I'd also love to see how they fit on a person. How much were they, btw.
 
oh no UNIQ, shame they didnt fit. i hope you do get them in your size though as they are so so fab and i am sure you would just rock them!!

Hi Kimair - I now have 2 of the viscose racer back tanks. It's too early for me to tell whether or not they are pilling. I really hope they don't though. What is your tee made of ? I did notice that they were using different materials for their various tees some of which looked like fine brush cotton which could explain the pill tendancy??

Leyla - As much as I like the boy's blazer here in the Bon Marche. The euro pricing is off putting and also I am not keen on the shorter arm length. They're like elbow length on me and in fact more comfortable pushed over the elbow - and the looks all a bit too much "Less Than Zero" for my comfort level. As much as I love Bret Easton Ellis , I don't want to look like I walked out of one of his novels. :ninja:

Well, i went to Harvey Nics today, and they had A LOT of the row in, must have been about 20 different pieces, all beautiful. They had the leather leggings, along with a leather skirt, a blazer, loads of tops, a couple of the bandage dresses and quite a few full length dresses. Price -wise, the round-neck tops were £145, and the blazer was just over £1000, which i thought was expensive. And the leather leggings, as said before, were £1250! But, all the pieces were so beautiful, and it was next to rick owens in the store. The SA said it was selling VERY quickly!
Anyways, I got a black top, which I LOVE! And, after seeing/trying it on, it is definitely work the money.
