honestly, what's so special about their blazers to justify the praise (and heavy pricetag)? I really don't see what they add to what people like Helmut Lang or Hedi Slimane have already pioneered (and indeed, perfected) - androgynous men's tailoring for girls.

I have to agree, I see no superb tailoring of the blazer from those pictures.. in fact it looks like a normal high street blazer, that fabric might be amazing up close.. but I pref blazer to be more rigid.. as I think that is a sign of quality and a sign of sharp tailoring.

Oh, how I would love to own a Hedi Slimane jacket...

I think it is more expensive because the pounds price is actually the USD price...soo 200 some thing in USD but when it goes to pounds it is worth double...so it becomes 500

well until we know the US pricing of the blazer (which is prob. below 500 going off of the UK pricing) I don't think it's that bad and cheaper that Hedi Slimane

Isn't the US pricing for the blazer 1300 USD? - It's that price in Euros -1300 - which seemed steep to me when compared with other designer labels. I have checked the label for the fabric and it's simply 100% wool. Personally, I prefer the Ralph Lauren Polo navy blazer of last season that retailed at 595 Euros to The Row one. However I do like the fact that The Row lapels are narrowish and that there's no huge blazer badge. If I was in the States I'd have probably bought it!

From the Row I personally prefer the hanover blouse in black which is original and beautiful and better priced and the danese jacket which unfortunately isn't stocked locally but which looks unique and cool in pics.

yeah, the blazer is around $1300 in the US but i think joie is right about the leggings...i hope! i'm just assuming that because they have a pair of jeans here that are around $300 so why would leggings be $500?

There is a blazer newly up on the matches fashion website, and it is retailing for £1040, so considering $1300 is about £650, it is pretty priced up in the UK!

i still havent checked the RRP for the US for the blazer but overall the line IS indeed pricier outside of the US as the markup is more reasonable due to barely any shipping costs and import duties.
however, the prices outside of the US are also just "normal" considering the cost of the goods and the suggested retail mark up.
in case of the blazer though 1200£ is a RIP OFF
