The Row - The All-Things The Row Thread

ah lucky leyla! I love the saddle shoulder top though I think it's overpriced for what it is. I guess when you can get it at wholesale prices it's not so bad :p

...okay, i got the shirt in the mail today.. though, even though it is a size large, it's pretty tight in general. for instance, the sleeves & chest area are very tight. however, the shirt is AMAZINGLY well made & the fabric is impeccable (sooo soft)! i also love the fact that it's long. anyway, do the short-sleeved t-shirts also fit like this...?

i think i may be selling this shirt on ebay (except i absolutely love it!) & get a gray or black one because the white is so sheer.

OR do you guys think that this is, in fact, wearable? i just don't know what to do! also, keep in mind [again] that i'm a 14-year-old boy..

additionally, (if i did keep it) am i supposed to cut the Row tag off or what?

THANKS SO MUCH!

it looks so amazing! but really long... if it isnt so long i may consider getting it :p

meg,
that is probably ONE thing i would buy at retail without second thoughts. i think it was 320 Euros and i LOOOVE IT!!

I want the grey crewneck long sleeved shirt so badly but my mom would kill me if I spent $350 on a t-shirt. Is there a similar dupe anywhere? I've already tried AA.

^I would post a pic of the top, but I am a 34C in that region, so I don't think I would be the best fit model. Also, the pants were returned because I found a pair from Les Chiffoniers on NAP that I like sooo much better. :)

chances are, your mom wont know how expensive it is. cuz the row is kinda new and everything maybe she has no clue

I'm in the same boat as you right now, though - flat broke! I guess it's not really funny...but, eh. I would kill for the reversible shearling jacket AND the Peter shirt, but I can't afford either atm. I already did the bulk of my fall shopping. :(

oh okay :) Yeah!!! I really want the reversible jacket, peter shirt, row leather leggings and the crewneck tee. Why can't it be affordable to regular girls like you and me?

^I don't think it's terribly unaffordable in general, though I know not everyone can afford it. I actually prefer high prices because it means less people will be wearing the same thing as you - I guess I am a fashion elitist in that respect. But I can only afford one really big purchase per season, so the shearling is a no go, period. The Peter shirt will simply have to wait. :)

Hello,

do you know in which Matches in London they sell the Row (Marylebone, Mayfair, Notting Hill, Richemond or Winbledon)????

a reminder that no selling is allowed on tFS except in the ebay thread in shop til you drop...
you are allowed to post an auction of yours there, but not promote it...
if someone has questions, we ask that they pm you...
thank you!

Seriously people: please, please, please post pics!!!

It seems like a lot of Brits are confused about the Row and E&J. I saw many photos tagged as being the Row debut at Selfridges and Grazia has a well developed fashion department....they really shouldn't be making this sort of mistake

^Agreed, I have read a lot of articles mixing them up.
I really don't understand it, as the two lines are so different in both their look and price!

meg,

agreed!!
i was quite shocked to say the least that Grazia UK did not figure out that Selfridges' launch was for E&J  they always pretend to know everything about everyone and are the first to go on TV to promote their "knowledge" :innocent:
i bet Harvey Nichols wasnt too happy when they saw all the tags !

Unfortunately my mother is very up to date on designers and collections, not to mention she "visits" barney's and sak's every week
