this thread is like my neighborhood ( williamsburg, brooklyn, new york ) in print, the good times, the bad times, i like alot of the style but am getting tired of the "quirkiness" i guess i'm getting older, am trying to go for a more sophisticated hip vintage look as opposed to the kiddie style, i think more kids are starting to go that direction, i also think its the younger/newer kids that are into the "loud" styles cause when i first moved here 4 years ago it was a different style, same vibe but a bit more low-key, less kitsch, but its fun to watch the masqueraders, the attitude can be iffy with alot of the kids but you find genuine sweethearts too, i have my crew and i'm cool with that, i go out but i dont go out everynight and try to avoid annoying scenes, i dont like misshapes anymore either... i want to add pics from my scene which is afropunk, events are slow for the fall but should pick up soon

Same here.. I think Diva is really pretty in a natural way. Plus, she is definetly more interesting and better looking than Cory. Diva's been dating Alex from Phantom Planet for several years and her dad was in the band Bauhaus. Also, she has been friends with Mark since before cobrasnake,etc so she isn't one of those hanger-ons wanting a picture for e-fame.

I agree this Diva girl is naturally pretty. And dating Alex from Phantom Planet..he's gorgeous! There must be a bit of an age gap cause he's in his 20s and she looks really young. How old is she?
