^Most major cities have these type of parties..Im in DC and we have them... they might not be as notable as NY or LA but they are there..


and I would say its half and half..some people go to get photographed and be "seen" while others throughly enjoy them for fun (like me)

How old do you have to be to go to Misshapes, because I'm looking for somewhere to go for my 16th birthday. Also, is it worth the hype to go? Any suggestions will be very helpful! Thanks!

^i was under the impression that it would be like atleast 18+ but i've seen a lot of kids who are younger. it could just be who they know and things like that but i dont know.

i think its 18+.. maybe you get a bracelet or something if youre +21.. thats how it is in l.a. at least..unless its some stupid paris hilton type bar..

^well i know at cinespace in LA you have to be 21+ (unless you know someone i guess). i just went this pass tuesday for the misshapes book release party and some looks to be under 21, but i don't know that for sure.

You have to get pass the doorman first. And the next person who checks id's, if he doesn't know you and if you're under 21 you're most likely not going to get in.

I got it cause one of my friends has a few photos in it and she gave it to our friends.. I could look at those photos all day...way more than the LA cobrasnake ones...

i always had the impression that they didnt exactly have an age limit at misshapes cause some kids(the ones with heavy connections im thinking) there were like 16 or 17

a few years ago "gothic" was sooo hip, guess now all the gothics went emo. cause
