Is this girl trying to dress like your girl....or is this just me?
Uhm, they all dress the same. Which I dont really mind until they come with that whole "We're so unique" business...NO YOURE NOT!! Maybe 3 years ago!

These people make my skin crawl, ugh, they gross me out. I was on the train with one who was just so horrid, his hair, was like just a bunch of cowlicks...How is that attractive!? It was DISGUSTING...

Ugh, skinny jeans are dead. Looking like a corpse is tired. This whole look is like 3-years old and is really tired.

i wouldnt say skinny jeans are completely dead since a lot of fashion houses still have them for next year all the way to the winter..

anyway, i do agree. its getting repetitive and monotone. everyone is trying so hard so all we get it mass. not so "unique" as it was for true scenesters in the beginning...i see there are two ways of "scene", the boho-blaah-clowns and emo/hardcore-try-so-hard-to-be-tough-and-different kids..

once in a blue moon there are expeptions who represent the good of the scene :)

i listen to those bands too but i dont have the scenester attitude.. haha.. i do party but im not rude and concieded...spit on people etc. which i have seen happening at "scene clubs".

Eww, I can't believe they do that...I dunno if I wanna go now lol. Those clubs look like they'd be cooler than the regular, average, boring clubs that are around.

Anyway, how do you dress? I can't explain my style really...I loved skinny jeans a year before they were popular  But I still wear them. I love cigarette pants, Victorian-esque clothing, & shirts w/quirky stuff on it [like some embroidered shoe or something like that] & I love some of the 80s' rock-a-billy style. I can't really "call" myself anything, I don't really like the fact that people do. It's getting old.

I'm actually wanting the 90s' "grunge" style to come back...But in a classier way. I've found an amazing purple flannel plaid shirt for only $14 lately & I believe I saw some kinda baggy/wide legged jeans being sold. I'm actually craving for that now lol.

But as you can see, I wear whatever I like. How about you all?

in fact, i dress very similar like you! i also rocked skinny jeans way before their time. :D i guess music inspires me A LOT, and so maybe people would categorize me as scene. i dont feel/think im "scene" though. dont be frightened to go to those clubs.. if youre having a good time with your friends, you should have fun...im sure you dress/look way better than any of those dirty scenesters anyway... :flower:

and to stick to topic, a picture of myself.

Since people are requesting some variation in the pic sources, I'll be glad to contribute some pics of Atlanta scenesters/hipsters/electro club people :) :flower:

nice..good to see other 'scenes' from different cities other than ny and la

Aww thanx. Some of them do look "dirty". Especially in the recent batch of pics, haha. But I'd love to go anyways & show off my style lol. "Now this is how you dress..." Haha, nah, but I like to wear whatever I like & what looks good & is comfortable. VERY important!!!!

it's from an older collection and ann hasn't produced anything all that similar for a while. i did, however, see the same jacket in a size 38 on ebay last week. it ended not having met the reserve, so chances are we'll be seeing it again.
