Really loved the pilot.
When that song by 'The Kills' kicked in, it was such a great moment :D
 
In terms of editing and viral marketing, this is hands down the best advert I've ever seen in my whole life. Got me bad :lol:

^^The preview for Losing Control is done really well.

I still haven't seen the pilot, but it's replaying tomorrow so I'm hoping I'll see it then.
 
I liked the pilot, but I ADORED these books, reading them years ago and becoming a fan of this fandom before I even knew what a fandom was. I had hoped to see this series on screen and I as excited when I heard they were doing a show. But the show is almost NOTHING like the books. I will keep watching for awhile, but I hope they step it up.
 
Pilot was okay, nothing special but same was for TVD as well. It took at least 5-6 episodes for it to get good so I'll give this show a chance.

That promo for Losing Control is insane, I thought there was something wrong with my laptop LOL.

I read the books a few years ago and I loved them... The TV show is different. I wasn't completely hooked after the first episode, but I'm interested enough to want to know what they are going to do next.

The lead actress is gorgeous! I kind of like this...they did a good job with casting a la Vampire Diaries. These CW shows live and die by who they cast and it looks like they did a decent job.
 
The pilot wasn't as cringe-worthy as I'd expected it to be but there were still way too many clichés and recycled ideas that it was awkward. I do like the lead actress but the evil girl (Phoebe Tonkin?) is not convincing at all and the boys aren't hot enough for my taste :p Not sure I'm going to watch the 2nd episode.
 
I´ll give it a shot if only cause I like Britt and Gale Harold, he´ll always be Brian from Queen as Folk to me :heart:^_^
 
Wow I'm not big fan of witches but I loved this first episode. And the chemistry between Britt and Thomas is amazing
 
OMG I just realised that Thomas Dekker was that lead gay guy in that freakishly weirdly sexualised indie movie 'kaboom'.

I'll never look at him the same again.
 
I actually didn't find it so bad.
A few moments I really liked where when at the very beginning Cassie was trying to set the candle alight and that 'give me light' was quite beautiful.

This bit made me laugh sooo bad :D

Since this is the only episode, I don't feel so attached to characters but I really really felt bad for Faye when she killed that girl. Her teary eyes!

For some reason I'm really starting to like Nick. And also Adam's dad ^^ it's curious to see what their parents actually did so that most of them died.
Diana does nothing for me. She seems to be such an empty character, they should either give her some evil story line or just sacrifice her in a tragic accident.

Love the soundtrack but the show is absolutely dreadful! The acting seems overdone and the spells or summons are incredibly lame. A drop of water as light as air? But the outcome of the spell was pretty :)
