The Simpsons///Harpers Bazaar.

Sure its fun, but I'd rather see editorial photography than a bunch of cartoons. I do hope Bazaar would not do anything like this again.

Of course if they did this frequently (which I doubt they will), it would be irritating but editorial photography in Harper's Bazaar has always been so lacking in creativity so something like this is very refreshing to see :)

I don't mean frequently. I mean ever again. I prefer mediocre editorials to cartoons is my point.

See, that's the thing  They won't do it ever again (or at least for a while) This is once in a blue moon. Next month, they'll go back to mediocre editorials. That is why seeing something like this is garnering so much positive feedback because it's refreshing. :flower:

I've been raised believing 'The Simpsons' is low-class and vulgar

That made me laugh more than the Simpsons editorial.

Reminds me of an episode where Marge joins the country club and ends up snubbing her family in order to fit in with everybody.

^I love how creative Marge was with her Chanel dress  (in the episode you mentioned)

I've always been a fan of the Simpsons, illustrated editorials and Linda Evangelista.

Perfection!!

This is so wonderful. It's a blend of pop culture, and high fashion that pokes fun of both the Simpsons and fashion houses. And personally, I don't find anything better than people that can have a laugh at themselves.

I thought it was very fun and refreshing. Sort of self-deprecating, but still fab.

That was easily the most amusing editorial I've ever seen. Donatella as seen through The Simpsons signature look....GENIUS!

psh, the simpsons have a movie and now they're in bazaar. *jealous*

on a more serious note, I always find it amusing when magazines label representational illustrations of clothing. it's not like a woman will look at simplified drawings of dresses and call up the store to see if there are any available.

I thought it was very cute. Loved the Homer-dressed-like-Karl pic :)

Not too crazy about Maggie in the doggie carrier though.

homer as karl- genius! ( especially since karl was fatter than homer)
