The first pictures I ever saw of Emina were actually the polaroids posted previously as she in 2004 was picked as 'Model of the Week' by models.com - It wasn't until I saw this editorial - Goddess Gorgeous - in british Elle later that year though, I was convinced that this girl was going to make it big. I always thought her eyebrows gave her that extra to make to stand out - a sort of masculine edge - but she never loses her natural elegance and grace as this picture shows perfectly. Can you think of anybody looking any more 'goddess gorgeous' than Emina does here?

I saw this image way before I ever had any interest in fashion and didn't even know she was a model at the time, but this has always been an image I've found very beautiful. I don't think it even had anything to do with her. The draw of all the beautiful green, maybe, and the pose is sensual without being overt... I can't even explain why, really, but it's just such a beautiful image and there's really nothing else quite like it. It's been so long it's actually hard to say, but the more I see the more I adore her.
