Cool cover posts and I agree Marpy was very beautiful but she was more of a runway girl which kinda stifled her. However,she's pretty much the classic sense of the older models(pre-Super era)...they specialized usually in one area. The girls that came a year or so after her completely did both and thats mainly why they're more recognizable.

Thanks for those Marpessa pics, Omi. She was one of my favorites, and it's not easy to find pics of her on the internet, since (like you said) she was more of a runway model.

Btw, does anyone know if she's biracial? I remember that when she first started out, her hair was very thick and curly.

YES...especially during the pre-Super era(after like 1986/87 she pretty much fell off with those type of fashion mags).
