The Twilight Saga Movies

Nah, I'm just surprised they let her have the final choice at all. Seriously, if I was a stylist I would get her the heck out of the clothes department. Her red carpet choices so far are :ninja: :yuk:  There's a reason why people choose professions and some of them combined together clash.
the moment they signed her as an executive producer on this, they gave her final say on everything, she has the power of veto (it's no wonder that usually executive producers are mostly the people financing the movie to see where they money goes out). to add on that, i think she was given some clausule in her contract from the start to interfere - hence her basically cutting the first movie with Catherine. regular executive producers who realize they don't have the clue (in most cases) about the "art" side of it leave it all up to the crew and then glaze at possible awards the movie gets since it will be them themselves picking up the awards on the stage (producers that is). :flower:

from how it looks like by now, i'd say i wouldn't be surprised if Meyer publishes 10 more Twilight books in the future to milk it all. :innocent:

Oh God I hope the wedding dress rumor is false... I really want her to have a stunning dress, not something...Stephanie like.

Yeah, I read them and I own three of the four. (didn't bother with the last. Internet saves money)
Twilight is a guilty pleasure. You can get lost in it pretty quickly but really, pure looking at the writing, it's a piece of sh.t.

Are there any pictures of Smeyer in her wedding dress?? I want to see them! Bella will probably wear a slightly modified version of that one anyway.

i don't own anything related to twilight (dwlded ebooks). such a lousy fan, i just pay the tickets for the cinema.

good point Empress about SMeyer, you little meany.

IA. When I started reading Twilight my first thoughts were "who wrote this crap?!" & "why am I reading this?!" but I got hooked ^_^
I have all the books and movie companions cause I´m a collector and I hate reading books on a screen... reading Midnight Sun that way was torture

has everyone here read the books?

haha funny story: i bought the first book about 3 months ago thinking i wouldn't like it because it seemed a little... i don't know. i got into twilight after seeing eclipse at the movies, and then i bought the first two movies because i loved eclipse so much, so i was kinda "late" with the whole scene. anyhow, about the books, i started reading the first one and i just couldnt stop reading it, i kept reading until i realized it was 5am and i forced myself to bed, later that day i finished it and bought the other books. in the middle of the last book, after reading non stop for like a week, my left eye went... black. i was blind. scared the **** out of me, my mom had to drive me to the hospital but by the time we got there my eye felt fine and i was no longer blind (lol) so i treated myself to some sweets on my way home and watched new moon with my mom haha.

according to the doctor i had been studying too much, because thats what i told her. school just takes up so much of my time :innocent:

That's a funny story Evelina . You sure fooled them with all your "studying"

haha you were studying history of the Vampir, very important stuff :)

well, there's def no brainactivity needed when reading these books, so i guess you couldn't have been farther from studying:lol:
i honestly can't understand how anyone over the age of 10 can enjoy these books, i mean i understand getting hooked in a trainweck-can't-look-away-way, but it's so painfully bad and the characters are all boring, don't change at all in the course of 4!!!!! books, nothing ever happens and bella is a horrible narrator. i only read the other books to know how much worse it could get:lol:
but i guess i've always liked strong female characters in books and movies, so these books are not my taste, even as a kid i would've wanted to punch bella:ninja:

i'd say don't read them if you like literature and female heroines, because they're both ruined in these books

does anyone know the final numbers for eclipse(boxoffice)?
boxofficemojo says: $690,166,829
NM made $709,827,462

...but i'm not sure if these numbers are correct

All I know is that Eclipse made around $300,500,000.00 in the US. I am not sure yet what the total is worldwide.

I just checked that Eclipse did $394 million but I don't know if that's the final total because it just opened in Japan, but I don't think the total will increase that much.

I was thinking same, I guess I like them now because they are so easy reading.

And I don't wanna her finish Midnight sun, the start was pretty awful :ninja: what was she thinking, writing everything from everybody's point of view? Ooh.. at first I was thinking it was great idea to hear Edward's but gosh, it was so boring.

^I thought that MS was a lot more fun to read than Twilight, I prefer Edward´s pov (wasn´t from everybody´s, just Edward´s) than Bella´s.
