sorry sorry sorry jeez. chill.

I know, people can get ridiculous about that shiz.

No offense mods, sometimes you scare us though. I know you're just doing your job...but it's just a message board.

I can understand why the mods are like that. Theyre the ones that have to organize it all. So when someone comes in and posts all of these things that have been discussed over and over.... it just takes up room... and then the mods have to move it to an appropriate place. SEARCH is there for a reason. What's the point of starting a new topic of sayyyy.. Balenciaga.. when we have an entire thread (that is ten pages long and full of information) dedicated to it?

It's wasted space.
.. Just don't be lazy and use the damn search tool. Not hard, trust me.

whatever, im not fighting the "flooding the boards" crap. but i can give people some help with undereye circles!

they are blood vessels, if you didn't know that before, so you can't exactly get rid of them, but you can hide them. i just discovered paula dorf's undereye concealor. it's definitely something to look into because it is magical. it is dual shaded so you can match it perfectly to your skin tone.

apply it after you have used an eye cream with a brush so that it doesnt get caked on. it's amazing, like really...amazing.

I JUST bought Dermablend a week ago and i LOOOVVVEEE it...i'm a med student so nasty dark circles since forever, no matter how much sleep i get. Dermablend.com has a starter set on their website (click on sales) for $10 with a $5 off coupon, so i thought, what the hey? i t've tried everything, and was using benefits concealers, which arent bad but they are drying on my eyes...

so i got the dermablend in beige two days ago (i'm asian and this shade is PERFECT for me, a first for asians!) :woot: and you put on the concealer and then this setting powder...it works so perfectly! i cant believe it was only $5. My roommate was so impressed she bought one in ivory for $5. You cant beat that price, you should try it
dermablend is used to cover tattoos and veins and stuff, so this stuff has excellent coverage!

Agree, luna.

Dermablend is very good and so is the eye concealer by Stila. I prefer thicker formulas. Mac also has them.
You end up using less because they have more pigment and so the coverage is much better, imo.

Cover FX - baby
Cover FX - it's what works

i've got serious crazy dark blue/purple under-eye triangles - that were made worse by an evil dermatologist - they are permanent - they're bad - people think i've been punched in the eye.

i've tried sooooooooooo many products, including: Cinema Secrets, Ben Nye, MAC, Revlon, Lancome, L'Oreal, Clinique, Quo, Lise Watier, Nacara, Fashion Flair, Estee Lauder, Niko and some other stuff... but most don't have my colour anyways (i'm a MAC NC45)

the ONLY thing that has worked is: Cover FX
freaking phenomenal
and honey
you've got the use the brush
yes it's like $40 CAD - but amazingly worth it.

Thank you luna

Dermablend concealer is amazing, it's a very strong pigmented concealer, oil based, that will cover up everything, even tattoos :ninja: but it looks like you're wearing makeup...I do use it a lot when I do photoshoots and stuff like that, but on real life, you look like a waxed mannequin... Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage is amazing, takes a bit to get the trick, cause you have to dab it with a brush, not smear it, otherwise you won't do anything...seal it with a light coat of loose powder, then re apply the Secret Camouflage, then seal it again... it will last all day, and it will look flawless

I bought secret camo... but I've only applied it once not twice like you suggest...I'll have to try your tip Ale..ty
Sofar the thing that bothers me with secret camo is that it takes longer to apply that other products I've used...and I imagine time to do the perfect make up isn't something I'll have loads of time for once the baby arrives..oh well.

^^^^ ehm I mean I use secret concealer under my eyes.. not secret camo ..is that the one you mean Ale ?? Because I'm pretty sure secret concealer is for the undereye while secret camo is for everwhere else

i have secret camo to cover up scars, its really good. Id recomend it.

I have both of them... secret concealer is super creamy on my eyes, and I have a thin line under my eyes, which causes this product to crease in there, and makes it all look :yuk: ... The Secret Camouflage is less oily, so when I apply it under my eyes, it creates a less artificial yet covered up look... I ussually wear the SC under my eyes at night time, because its heavier and works great in pictures...both of them I apply with a foundation brush, the hardest the brush is, the better and easier the application is... give it a go Hanne, SC works great under eyes also... that's what I first bougth it for

Actually after reading you tip I applied secret camo, let it set w. a tiny amount of powder and then applied a little bit of secret concealer...I thought it looked great..but maybe it didn't because I went out with my husbands niece who's almost 13 ..and some people asked if we were sisters (early on) which I guess was okay :P BUT later some people asked if she was my DAUGHTER

Try the Eye Tonic from Chanel. You like Chanel products, try to search and test the magnific cold ball on to of the stick. You have to circle your eyes with that stick and pat with your finger softly. Then you can put your favorite eye concealer.

I just bought the Anna Sui eye concealer yesterday and it's the best I've ever used! All others make me look like i have racoon eyes and the cream gets all caked between my lines. But this one completly blends into my skin to cover dark circles and makes my skin look completly flawless. The lines totally disappear too!

So the old remedy (cucumbers on the eyes) doesn't work anymore? I some help under the eyes too...but I don't want to use makeup or anything (I only wear mascara and lip gloss). Any suggestions?

Does anyone know about Bobbi Brown foundation/concealor colors? I want to get the new concealer palette thing for my under eye circles, but I don't know what color I am. I've only ever used MAC, and I'm an NC30 in all of thier foundations.
Anyone know?

I've tried the bobbi brown concealer and it seemed to crease really easily for me, even when I set it with powder... so for now I'm sticking to MAC's studio finish NC90.
