I hope nothing too bad happens to Caroline now she's mixed up with Katherine but I do want her character to follow a new exciting path not just being a boring undead cheerleader.

Yes, I hope nothing bad happens to Caroline too. I've been starting to like her character... Although I did feel a strong point of season one was that they weren't afraid to kill people off. (Vicki, Lexi, Pearl, Anna).

Anyway, new episode tomorrow night! I hope it's good!

Is it somewhat weird that I find Stefan has more chemistry with Katherine than he does with Elena?

Yay, new book. The books are nothing special though but I'm 'in' the story and want to read anything related to it.

As for Elena/Stefan's chemistry, they act like brother and sister sometimes. There's nothing sexy about their relationship imo. I mean we know they're a couple and they hug and give a kiss on the lips but other than that, we don't see passion.

I just finished watching the new episode! It was so good! Much better than the last one!

Spoilers:
-Mason Lockwood tells the Sheriff (Caroline’s mother) that Damon and Stefan are vampires. She doesn’t believe him, but he says that he can prove it. Mason spikes the lemonade with vervain. Damon drinks it and immediately spews it all over, revealing himself.
-The Sheriff calls the other cops and tells them to bring the “stuff” because they are going to need it.
-Stefan and Damon decide that they have to take Mason down because he is causing them trouble.
-Stefan and Damon follow Mason into the woods to get rid of him, but instead they are shot by wooden bullets and injected with vervain. Then dragged into the old Lockwood mansion servant quarters.
-Caroline senses that something is wrong. She and Elena go into the woods looking for Damon and Stefan.
-The Sheriff tells Mason to leave and that she and the rest of her team will take care of everything. Mason leaves. The Sheriff proceeds to shoot Damon twice in the leg, while interrogating him.
-Elena and Caroline run into Mason in the woods. Mason asks what they are doing. Elena says they are looking for Stefan and Damon. Mason says that he just saw them, but he’s sure that Caroline can sniff them out. Then Mason grabs Elena. Caroline says she’s sure that she can take him, then proceeds to kick his ***.
-Elena and Caroline get to the old Lockwood mansion. Caroline says she can’t go in because her mother will know. Elena goes in by herself. Shortly after Caroline comes in, zooming around at vampire speed. Caroline takes down the other cops, whilst revealing that she is a vampire to her mother.
-After recovering, Stefan and Damon get rid of the bodies of the other cops and decide to wait for the vervain to leave the Sheriff’s system so that they can compel her and she will forget everything.
-The Sheriff says that she does not want to see Caroline and that Caroline is no longer her daughter. Damon tells her that she could not be more wrong.

-Tyler finds out that Jeremy knows about the Lockwood family curse.
-Tyler finally gives Mason the moonstone, after telling him that he wants nothing to do with whatever is inside of him.
-Mason goes into the woods to meet a mysterious person waiting in a car for him, who turns out to be Katherine! Mason gave the moonstone to Katherine and then they started making out!
-Also, you find out that it was Katherine who set up Mason to trigger the Lockwood family curse in the first place, knowing that he would turn into a werewolf.

-Stefan decides to start drinking human blood to make himself stronger, as he was almost killed by the wooden bullets and vervain. He feels it is his only hope to be able to defeat Katherine. And of course, Elena offers her own blood. (This was the only part of the episode that I didn't like).

^Whoops, that turned out long enough to practically be an episode summary. Anyway, great episode! Can't wait for the next one!

That was an amazing ep.

Mason is such a prick. I WANT to know what that stone does.

Once again poor Caroline. Her mom will find out in the end which will be even worse. She needs to talk her mom into liking Vamps lol.

Because Caroline is a vampire I want Elena to hurry up and become one too lol.

Where is Bonnie lately. She annoying with her "I'm a witch and better than you stance" but it's weird without her. She had powers so she should be part of the team.

Nice twist at the end. I did not see that coming. This is such a great show.

I'm glad there wasn't any Bonnie, she's annoying.
I expected it that a vamp would have compelled that guy to pick a fight with Mason, so that Mason would kill the guy and trigger the curse, I just hadn't thought that vamp would be catherine.
Poor Caroline. I really like her as a vampire, I hope they never kill her off!
And damn, Nina (Elena/Catherine) gets to kiss all the hot guys. First Stefan, then Damon and now Mason.
I wish Elena would allow Jeremy to help them with everything supernatural. She's too protective about him.

^I kind of wish Elena would let Jeremy help with the supernatural stuff, but at the same time I understand why she wants to keep him away from it.

I also hope they don't kill Caroline off. Her character has become one of my favorites. (In the books she wasn't even a main character so who knows what they are going to do).

I really, really hope they don't kill Caroline off, too. At least, bring in Meredith Sulez.

Wickedcrazyness, ofcourse I understand Elena too, but I just want Jeremy to participate . His storyline has already improved though, he's less the misunderstood and angry teenager he was in the first season. There's hope .

Baborrow, I'm afraid we'll never see Meredith. I get the impression that they've put a lot of meredith's qualities (from the book) into Elena's character (from the show).
It's a shame though, bc Meredith was one of my favourite characters from the books .

^They have changed a lot of characters last names for the tv show... Bonnie, Matt, Tyler.
