lol and i'm with you on that one! i actually read an article on that and why women always tend to be more attracted to the 'bad boy' type.. apparently the idea of them being rebellious makes us produce more of the happy hormone lol

Delena doesn't not make sense, won't make sense because they put Stelena on a pedastal like they're some epic love. And Stefan turning evil is not a good reason for Delena because Damon is worse than Stefan. The only way to do Delena without ruining Elena's characterisation is by redeeming Damon, which they have no interest in. They'll just have him faux-dying so Elena can forgive him and wipe his slate clean . It's beyond sad that what Buffy did for the genre, Twilight and TVD helped destroy again.

Maybe it would be better if we stop blaming TVD whereas we don't even know how they are going to handle season 3... I'm pretty confident with what they're going to come up with, and they haven't given me any reason to mistrust them so far... I mean, I really think they're able to surprise us again. The Damon/Elena thing is not sealed yet, right?

IMO, there is a difference between TVD and True Blood : Yes we've been waiting for the Sookie/Eric thing for ever. But in TVD there is so much more things to be excited about than just Elena/Damon-Elena/Stephan!

I mean, I can't wait to see what happened with Tyler/Caroline and Jeremy and his dead-undead-ex-girlfriends!

Let's stay optimistic, they've always been trying to be different from the Twilight/True Blood/Buffy,I don't see why they'd change their strategy since it's working!

Buffy, as far as I know, was not based on books. I'm talking strictly about the TV shows/movie. Sure, you can argue that the books were written before Buffy hence the sexist POV. However, it's not my impression that Elena in the books is such a non-entity. An empty hole for the (female) audience to project their own fantasies onto.

Poor Andie - first Damon mindf*cks her and then she gets killed by Stefan.

Forwood was HOT! But Caroline really doesn't get to be happy for long.

Not a SE fan, but PW and Nina did really well with the last scene. Could really feel their heartbreak.

Other than that, what a boring episode.
