The Vampire Diaries

^Another Elijah fan? *high five* Yep. I miss him dreadfully too.

Hehe. Don't forget Tyler confronting his mom about the vervain. That was pretty funny too.

Must be the selective vampire hearing. Or sloppy writing. Take your pick. But honestly, Klaus IS stupid. He killed Katherine's entire family thus almost destroying his chance to break the curse. This time, he wipes out an entire werewolf pack without even testing his plan first, when werewolves are supposedly hard to come by. Between Klaus' and Elena's stupidity in this episode... It was a very stupid episode.

^^*high 5* back

Oh yeh actually that whole arc of him showing his mum that he is a werewolf and that scene with Matt, that bromance needs to be mended yo'. :D Imagine Tyler, Matt and Jeremy's epicness of a bromance. Woah

I don't understand why they've made Elena into a mute, I mean she was quite strong in the beginning of the first season but it just seems she's become really stupid. Maybe it was just her having faith in Alaric but I can't believe she thought that between her and Ric, they could take on a herd of werewolves with that wolfbane grenade bomb thing. I mean really Elena?? The past year didn't teach you anything about how not everything is what it seems and anything can happen.

^^Yeah, I don't like when the vampire shows make the lead girls such fools. I mean, Stefan has not been on good behavior. I can understand wanting to save him from Klaus, but he's a big boy and he's also immortal. She can be killed again. I'd like to see her have an "A-Ha" moment and not be so foolish.

Elijah fans have great hair

I really don't care for Matt or Jeremy - or Vicky so the ghost story doesn't interest me except that I'm happy to see Anna again. However, I did like Matt and Tyler's friendship and I enjoy Jeremy with Elena. Basically, I like the everyday friendships/relationships. So if Matt/Tyler/Jeremy were going to be a OT3 bromance, that would be fine with me. Just like I enjoy Elena with Caroline and Bonnie - the only time I care about Bonnie since she's kinda a glorified plot device otherwise.

Yes, Elena was far smarter in S1. I in particular, was happy that she wasn't like oh Stefan you're a vampire, whateves I love you, but actually acted like a smart girl and took her time to think about it. That's pretty much gone with the wind nowadays. What was the urgency anyway that she HAD to go on a full moon night?

Press Release for 03x06:

On the first day of their senior year, Elena (Nina Dobrev), Caroline (Candice Accola), Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Matt (Zach Roerig) are still reeling from recent events, while Tyler (Michael Trevino) seems to be enjoying everything a little too much. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is annoyed by a new houseguest, and everyone is surprised by the arrival of a new student in Alaric’s (Matt Davis) history class. Matt asks Bonnie for help when he realizes he made a serious mistake. Meanwhile, Stefan (Paul Wesley) continues to carry out his latest assignment from Klaus (Joseph Morgan, who does not appear in the episode). Steven R. McQueen also stars.

sounds like a pretty boring episode to me :ninja:

But, MAJOR SPOILER for tonight's episode!
Elena is going to wake up and find Damon lying on the bed next to her!(don't get too excited Delena fans-both of them are going to be fully clothed)

and later, something like this will happen: :brows:

Okay. Well played TVD, that was actually a great episode. See what happens when you keep the Delena sh*t to a minimum?

^^ OMG REALLY??? I'm loading up the episode, now I'm excited to watch it. Although, I saw the promo for the next episode  BUT Stefan & Katherine :buzz:

Episode 3 was really good! ^_^

-I love Caroline and Tyler together!
-Stefan and Rebecca, Klaus' sister (another original vampire), were together :o
-Elena shows up in Chicago with Damon to try to get Stefan back. Stefan tells her that he is never coming back and she needs to forget about him. Elena tries to stab him with a vervain dart, but Stefan stops her and says he's serious, he's never coming back... Elena seems to believe him.
-Oh and the necklace that Stefan gave Elena was originally Rebecca's! And of course Gloria, the witch, needs the necklace so someone is going to have to go and get it from Elena.
-Did I mention Katherine is back too! She has been following Stefan and Klaus.

Anyway, it was sooo good! Can't wait for the next episode! :woot:

That's exactly how I feel. The dynamic, for me, doesn't work and comes off as contrived. I had to skip their scenes in Season 2, because of how much I couldn't stand them and I didn't want to be put off the show completely.

^Exactly. Imo, the Damon character was ruined the moment he was elevated into a genuine romantic interest for Elena. They want Damon to do "fun" stuff like get it bed with Elena and poking in her underwear drawer - without her consent! - but it comes off as gross (and contrived) since he's a "love interest".

I must admit, I never cared for Stefan because he's a real Mary Sue. That said, I liked flashback!Stefan a lot more. The only problem is that he and Elena are "twu luv" so I can't see how he can go all out and be eviiiiil - and return as a viable love interest for Elena.

If only the show wasn't so set around making the Salvatores Elena' love interests! I really think the triangle of doom ruined both Salvatores and worst of all, Elena!

Ok yes advo you were right, it was really good. Questions though : 1) How did Klaus not feel Elena being literally 3 feet away from him? I know Stefan said kids are probably breaking in and stuff but surely with him being a hybrid, he would have known someone is hiding. 2) Was Elijah dead at the time of the flashback? Did he choose the right side? I wonder if he was killed and bought back which led to Elijah being like Elijah. (Yes I will take everything back to Elijah! I want him back!)
I loved all the flashback scenes and all of the Caroline scenes, I didn't care for anything in between. Can I just point out, why is it ALWAYS Caroline who is getting tortured? Poor girl, how much more can she take?
Also how is it that no one has said to Elena how selfish she's being by always being in the same place as Klaus? I mean Jenna died for her and by following Stefan she's just making Jenna's death seem worthless.
Also I don't and can't see how Stefan and Elena can come back from this, I just can't. And if she takes him back, well that's just sad.

Ok...this show is back! Loved the new episode!

First, I'm so glad Stefan told Elena how odd it would be for them to get back together. It would've been disappointing to me if at least one of them didn't recognize the ick factor.

Second, I loved the actress playing Rebecca and the chemistry between her, Klaus and Stefan was AMAZING. I was getting a Dreamers vibe (remember that movie?)...brother and sister had a little too much sexual chemistry.

Bad Stefan is so much more interesting and complicated. Also love stalker Katherine who will be so jealous when she has to deal with Rebecca now.

Also, Ian control your damn eyes! And I love that Elena's necklace all connects back to something, such a great plot device.

@ladygodiva - i was thinking that too but i think with its some thing to do with her being a doppleganger [i think thats what they said in one of the earlier episodes]... Oooh good thinking, i thought elijah was great id like to see him back too. How much more of the family will we meet this season?

Seriously i thought this was a great episode, one of my favourite to date

1)
I know, it's stupid that Klaus didn't know she was there - yet "sensed" something when he entered the apartment. However, it is consistent because in season 1, Stefan told Elena that vampires can't sense/hear humans. Aside from AWESOME Elijah of course. He can sniff it out

2)
I don't think Elijah has been killed before. My impression is that Klaus and Elijah had a fallout - after Katherine ran or rather due to it. It actually makes sense now, that Klaus got so pissed with Elijah over Katherine. He killed Rebekah for just choosing Stefan over him so clearly the guy is kinda petty  and would kill Elijah for "letting" Katherine escape.

I did like Klaus better though in this episode. He's not the "big bad", too much of a child for that, but I liked his interactions with his sister and rippah!Stefan. (They also had loads of inappropriate chemistry, LOL. Totally a TVD staple.) But he's such a sad, sad, pathetic person. He killed his entire family because they wouldn't side with him - but still needs them so he takes their bodies with him wherever he goes. Sad. And SO creepy!

Hehe, anything between the flashbacks and Caroline would be... Delena. And we're in complete agreement. Frankly, they were superfluous in the episode. Elena was even stupider in this episode than last - quite an accomplishment - and Damon was his usual idiotic self. What was the plan? Getting himself killed and then Elena could have dragged Stefan's body back to MF? :ninja: ****ing idiot!

Speculation: Who is the guy that is hunting Klaus and Bex? My guess is Original Daddy!
