^LOL, so true about everyone having died. Matt's death was also stupid (though at least not supernatural) because why would you ************* instead of just replying to the text .

I'm not sure Julie is against Delena. I know she loves Damon. Actually, she loves all the guys. She's like the biggest fangirl! I firmly believe that its her love for Matt that has kept him alive so long. But the problem with Delena IS how forced they have become.

hahaha...I thought about Matt texting Vicki back too! I guess they wanted to make it more dramatic because texting a ghost would be so out of place in a scene like that

I read that about Julie Plec in many fansites and also all the episodes that she co-writes are always all about Stefan and Elena and there very few Delena scenes
But she definitely loves Damon. She loves all of the characters. She is actually the one to write the episodes with the flashbacks usually because probably she likes telling their stories.

And imo Matt is like the most useless character in the series so obviously Julie Plec likes him really much or owtherwise they would have killed him off long ago

Damon's and Elena's relationship was ruined after the second half of season 2...It seems like the writers are doing it just for the fans, so most of their scenses now are corny
Like the scene that they kissed in the season 2 finale! How hideous was that!

^Ahh, okay. It's just because she also once said that they didn't need to redeem Damon for Elena since the fans didn't mind that he killed her brother in front of her. So they could basically do whatever they wanted and fans wouldn't care anyway. Or something like that.

It's so typical that they have their faves. I also suspect that Kevin loves Alaric since he basically killed off Jenna and John just to give Alaric something to do. He's even said that he didn't care about writing for Jenna .

I could tolerate the kiss since it was basically just a pity kiss. But telling him that she liked him just the way he was now *ugh vomit*. I really want to like Elena but they write her so bad. She's always saying/doing these awful things. When Damon compared her to Buffy, they got a huge side-eye from me!

^Christmas. Also, when there's 21-22 episodes a season, they need to make them last Sept to May-ish. Expect another hiatus in the Spring - probably around Easter.
