Yes I was kind of amazed by the ending of the last episode, I thought the "We are going to kill Kol" idea was going to last for aaaages (just like every single time they had to kill someone). But I am not looking forward to see Klaus's revenge, I'm afraid it is going to get boring again (Klaus trying to kill them, them trying to kill Klaus.....)

Also, don't know if I'm the only one here, but I find Stefan to be ANNOYING as hell now!

^^I'm felling completely different about Stefan. He's the best and actually fun when his not with Elena. And he and Rebekah are so HOOOOOOT together.

^I second. I find the other brother extremely annoying when he's with Elena. I miss that true bad *** Damon from the beginning

How exciting was the latest episode? I was hooked from start to finish, these are the episodes of Vampire Diaries that I love. The ones that are compelling and have you gagging for the next showing. As I mentioned in a previous post, the show had become tedious and one plot took up a whole season. But as it's coming to an end, the episodes have become more gripping - just what I'm after.

TVD has been renewed for a fifth season, starting in Fall 2013. News spread across the web on 11 February !

^ Me too. I am loyal but I do think it has lost its edge. Fingers crossed that Jeremy is not really gone? I am looking forward to tonight's episode.

The latest episode is one of those that lead to nowhere. I wasn't that interest when watching it, as much as I was with the previous one. It's getting closer and closer to the end of season four, so I look forward to seeing how the series ends, nonetheless.

so does that mean that it is confirmed the season will end with season 4? I also feel it has taken a big nosedive in quality and the element of surprise, but it still has so much potential if they stop making every other scene be about the tug of war for Elena between Damon & Stefan. i'm sure she won't be gone for long, on that note, considering the battle between those 3 characters seems to be the premise of the series.

i'm glad that Bonnie is dead, or partially though. hopefully she won't be able to carry out magic from the other side, so when a character is killed it will actually have some significance!

Episode 100 of the series was on last night. It was good too.

^^I hated that episode, bringing back everyone that's ever been on the show, even though it was great to see Alaric. It was also great to see Klaus and Caroline finally do it.

I think this series went downhill a while ago. I much prefer the originals these days. Hotter cast is a plus

^Me too! I'm loving The Originals right now. All the characters on TVD bore me except for Katherine and Stefan. The Originals has so many great (and good-looking!) characters, complex relationships, and everything is bolder. I think it's for the best that the Original family got out of Mystic Falls haha.

Yeah. I agree. Hope will continue the show! Iam a huge Klaus fan
and i liked that Caroline and Klaus did it finally. Now he can start things with that certain bartender in the originals.

I love The Originals too! Thirteen episodes in and there hasn't been a bad one yet. In my opinion, it is far better than The Vampire Diaries (even when it first started).
