Last nights episode was so good!!!!

At the end of the episode there is a major "Poor Stefan" moment though!

I must say I had doubt about this show in the beginning but I'm glad VD proved me wrong.

I'm really liking where the storyline is going. A little while ago it started to get a bit boring, but they really picked it up!
I'm just hoping for more and more drama, but I'm still waiting for some tension between Damion and Elena, for some reason!

^I think there will be upcoming tension with Damon and Elena. Especially since I think Stefan is going to be struggling in the next couple of episodes.

I loved the last episode! And I hope too that there will be some Damon/Elena thingy in the next episodes, they'd make a better couple. Stefan's just too nice for my taste

Does anyone else still think Elena and Katharine may be the same person?...I'm thinking there is something that still needs to be revealed there. The likeness is still coming up with those tomb vampires.

^ But how can they be the same person? Elena didn't even know who Kathrine was until she met Stefan or what she looked like until she saw her picture in Stefan room. I think they are related in some way but definitely NOT the same person. I'm guessing the big 'reveal' about Katharine and the who she is will come in the season finale it would make sense to have that as the big 'OMFG moment' as a cliffhanger since its been one of the major storylines of the season.

Next weeks episode looks so good..badass Stefan is in town!!.

I mean as far as Katherine being reborn as a human. I don't know what happens in the books, but her witch connections could make anything possible. It just seems a little too kooky that Elena would be like twins with a relative.

Also they keep playing up the likeness, particularly in that beauty pageant picture where Elena has the same hairstyle Kat had in that famous picture Stefan keeps.

Seriously, the drama's are just getting better and better, and I'm glad that they are starting to show a different side of Stephan than just the sweet and innocent vampire!

What I´m enjoying the most about recent episodes is that the storyline is going in a different direction than the books which -imo- overall they´re quite bad... Uncle John is an interesting character and I like the actor who plays him, he knows how to play bad guys lol

Maybe Katherine had a sister or bother that was human so Elena is her niece?

Episode 18 was great. Uncle John is a very interesting charcter I wonder how much information he actually knows about Mystic Falls?. He certainly knocked Damon and Ric for six with his knowledge about both of them, Isobel and Kathrine.

And Jeremey - naughty boy, going through Elena's diary like that!!. Now that he knows EVERYTHING I wonder when he will finally reveal it to Elena and Co?...

Paul Wesley's performance in episode 19 was magnificent. I almost fell off my seat when Stefan threw Elena against his bedroom wall (and then apologized & broke down in Elena's arms afterwards ), it was tragic and freighting at the same time. PW absolutely nailed that scene.

I know TVD is a CW show and its a complete long shot, but i hope Paul gets nominated for an Emmy or a Golden Globe this year, he's such a good actor and he deserves some recognition for his work.

^^ I agree, and I have to say, there aren't many shows these days that actually include a good cast + great plots, so this takes the cake!

Compared to TVP, I don't see the hype with Twilight..

Spoilers:
I loved how Damon danced with Elena at the Miss Mystic Falls thing (because Stefan left to go bite a girl in the parking lot).
-John Gilbert, his character is interesting. I wonder what's going to happen next. Especially now that he knows Pearl (who he has been looking for) is Anna's mother!
-Glad Bonnie is back! I missed her character.

By the way, 3 more episodes until the season finale! I read that the finale will have 9 major "Oh My God" moments! I'm excited.

shiiiiieet i might not be able to handle that, as if it's not exciting enough already.
lol but i did read that, in the finale, john gilbert willl reveal how stefan & damon got turned, which is probably what will lead to all the chaos supposedly going to happen at the founder's ball. also, 3 major characters are going to die..... hmmm
i kind of have a feeling that one of them is going to be jeremy, cause i think he will finally get turned by anna.
but whatever does happen, IM ALREADY SOOOO INCREDIBLY EXCITED
