Can I just point out, why is it ALWAYS Caroline who is getting tortured? Poor girl, how much more can she take?

that was the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw those scenes in the new episode....it's like everytime she has to be the one tortured and ironically enough she is the "best" vampire in the series since she has killed only one person.

I think the flashabcks were the best part of the episode!
In TVD, vampires, as it was mentioned in season 1, can't sense neither humans nor vampires...Klaus assumed that someone was inside the house because he saw the broken locker.
Katherine is finally back! the only character that hasn't been ruined -yet- by the writers.

Anywho, the new episode was great!!!

-Anna warning Jeremy that "the darkness is here" and then all of the books catching on fire.... I wonder, what is 'the darkness'. Also, Bonnie now knows that Jeremy is seeing dead people.
-Gloria (a witch) tortures Stefan. She finds out that Elena is the doppelganger and is still alive, which is why Klaus can't make his hybrids. Then Katherine pops in and kills Gloria.
-"Don't you want to know why an original vampire who can't die is afraid of a vampire hunter," Stefan says to Katherine... Yes we would all like to know that!!!
-Damon bites Caroline's Dad. Caroline comes in and kicks Damon's butt.
-"Something's wrong. He was asking about Michael", says Rebecca... So Michael is the name of whoever Klaus and Rebecca were running from.
-Katherine pretends to be Elena while talking to Bonnie in order to get the necklace.
-Katherine shows up at Damon's door with the necklace and they decide to go on a roadtrip. (So maybe neither of them are there when the sh*t hits the fan).
-Klaus and Stefan arrive back in Mystic Falls in a transport truck carrying all of the coffins of Klaus' dead family members. (Yeah that was good!)

Can't wait until next week for the new episode! The preview looks awesome!!!!
-Rebecca has a confrontation with Caroline and Tyler in the hallway at the high school.
-Rebecca finds out that Elena, the doppelganger, is still alive!
-Klaus and Elena come face to face. (But I'm not sure if it was actually Elena or if it was Katherine)

Spoiler:03x08 is going to be an episode with flashbacks from the Originals and at this point we will meet the Original mom...So I guess we will see Elijah too in this episode even if he is in the falshbacks.

OMG *totally twirling in delight* to Daniel Gillies' interview!!! Sexy, sexy man!

DG doesn't know if it's Katherine or Elena? I was in the exact same dilemma. First, I was totally for Elijah/Elena. But I just can't with her anymore. Now I'm totally for Elijah/Katherine instead - I mean, I always was actually, because of their flashblacks in "Klaus".

Although - spoiler alert - I believe she, Katherine hooks up with Damon next episode God, Damon is easy

I hate that Elijah isn't coming back until 3x08

ladygodiva, ended up watching live after all because I couldn't sleep. Regretted it.

Aside from Caroline being kick@ss awesome and Alaric getting his balls back, it was such a BORING episode!

I really wanted to like Klaus - and he did improve in my esteem after last week's episode. Well, that's all gone now. God, he is stuuuuuupid! Serious? He drags Stefan's @ss back to MF instead of just compelling him to tell the truth? I don't care how many times the show tries to tell me Klaus is smart because he sure ain't showing it!

I really, really HATE Delena. Every time they share scenes, Elena looks like a freaking moron! Now... She has feelings for Damon? WTF? Daniel Gillies is so right! Delena worked in S1 because it was subtle and natural. It was based on the chemistry between Ian and Nina. But ever since they started to date, they lost the UST and frankly, they are so BAD to watch. Crap writing for Elena and Ian's "eye-acting"!

Katherine is crazy as hell...she is still five steps ahead of everyone, but can't seem to stop looking out for her boys and by extension, Elena. She doesn't give herself enough credit, she's smarter than Klaus and Rebecca combined.
