I loved the little home movies they showed...it was cute and she is definitely bigger than I thought she would be when she showed Diane her stomach.
They both seemed excited.
Acting is the key word. I don't know that I believe she truly has learned her lesson and is going to change or if it all is an ACT...I mean I thought she seemed mature and responsible (not to mention recovered) before the whole wrong-way on the freeway incident.
I agree...im happy for her! pregnancies are always something very positive.
and i dont understand why people feel sorry for Hilary either?
i was close to getting married and my ex is married just over a year later and possibly already someones dad... there is nothing one can do. life goes on![]()
I'm sorry but there's no way a recovering addict like her would have a dr prescribe such a powerful medication like vicodine for her cramps, no way at all. In the circles nicole hangs out in vicodin is a party pill pure and simple. she was using it recoreationally to get high. I'm not judging, I'm just not going to buy the 'cramps' excuse... even though she was very convincing.
I honestly think Nicole is simply smarter and more talented than Paris and Britney. that;s why she comes accross way better in interviews. whether she's on a path of cleaner living we'll all never know, but she's definately more talented at convincing the public that she is.
Some people have absolutely debilitating cramps. Some people simply scream and scream until they puke when they have their period. They can't function, and they certainly can't work. What would you propose they do - just suffer through it, lay down in their beds, or moan and groan through their work days, although there is medication - such as vicodin - that helps at least partially? It simply takes the pain out.
I find this rather offensive. I have such cramps myself - and people fail to understand that periods differ from person to person. So most people have periods that can be helped by ibuprofen - well, congratulations, but that doesn't help the unlucky few who have severe pains. Although, of course, it's hard to see how she would have driven as strangely as she did had she just taken the regular dose prescribed. Was it hydrocodone with or without tylenol. There is no reason to prescribe w/o tylenol....

^ Aaaaaaaaw
C'mon Frenchy,it's time for you to be happy for Nicole![]()
I'm genuinely sorry I offended you
However, you can't deny three facts
1) in the social circles Nicole runs in, and in many hollywood circles, Vicoden is recreationally used/abused as a party pill to get high. Many celebs have gone on record as being addicted or abusing it (Matthew Perry comes to mind) and have talked about what a immediately addictive powerful substance that particular pill is.
2) Nicole is a recovering opiate addict and my gawd, I can't imagine any reasonable doctor would logically prescribe a recovering addict a powerful opiate classified as highly addictive for cramps. I'm not suggesting she lay down and suffer if she does have the extreme menstral pain you describe, but there are other non opiate options.
3) Nicole was driving dangerously the wrong way on an on-ramp in the wee hours of the morning on her way home from a party. she failed a field sobriety test and was obviously not in her right mind. If you want me to even grant you that maybe Nicole was genuinely in need of the highly addivtive opiate vicodine to help her with her cramps there's little chance that if she was following the instructions correctly she would have been that messed up, therefore, she obviously had indulged in a recreational dosage. this girl is smart and knows her substances well, I highly doubt that getting high was an accident.
I certainly wouldn't want to deny someone medication if they're in severe pain. but the facts lend themselves towards a much higher probability that she was recreationally abusing an addictive prescription medication and that this cramps story was a convenient excuse.
