I hope this fits the bill...

flames2.gif

I’ve not wanted to go to literal with my interpretation, using orange and red ruffles to represent the flames, as that’s overdone I think. So instead through the use of colour and shape I think I’ve managed to interpret fire.

Such elements as the black leather bustier are meant to represent the charcoal, whilst the felted wool collar the smoke and chimneys through which fire expels itself. Red silk trousers, red woolen spats over lack leather wedge ankle boots, coral chiffon and bead work around the collar of the blouse finish the look. :)

omg I'm loving your sketch thwick its just incredible love the neck detail

thank you too, Aaron, IncurableLunatic and Perfect10! :)

Time for all your entries now, let's keep this going! :)

ill post mine i just need to make it hahaha and also i need to choosse an element

remembr it doesnt matter how you draw, the thign that matters is the design, not the drawing!! just the creativity!:D so c'mon dont be shy and post!!

Exactly, it's not about the drawings themselves at all, but just about the design and the creativity behind it! No one should worry about their drawing skills in here, it's a place for designers not artists! :)

encouraging words guys, thanks:blush: but i'm more of a director so maybe i'll just direct all your fashion shows in the future.....or make a tFS fashion film compilation :shifty::p

^ cute. I love the skirt portion of the dress.

I think I'm going to redo mine, but the only problem is I might not get a chance to post it until the 28th

So... come on people, today is meant to be the last day, though it looks like we'll have to extend the contest, as we only have two entries...! :(
