So we can post them here when we're done with them? How many outfits do we make? Just one, right? :D

this is fun!

^ you post it here when your done, I guess you could do more than one if you want, but you dont have to...then the previous winner (Cosette is starting) - will pick a winner...:flower: Im just going to get my scanner working and then Ill post my picture

Done, so here is my picture...:flower:

I decided that I wanted to design something from the French Revolution Period, and I just loved the Style of Napoleon and I found the most extravagant picture of him on a horse which I knew i had to use for inspiration...So the period of my design would be the 1800's. My design has a blue jacket with gold embroidery, one glove, with mustard trousers, red drape, and a white chiffon silk with a gold bottom....:woot:

I just finished my sketches. I think Friday is too much time to come up with sketches. Shouldn't we shorten it to like every 2~3 days. I'm connecting my scanner so I can post the sketches now. Do we also prepare a persentation? (Like a paragraph explaining our sketch) I kinda also know who it is that is currently in the competition. :innocent:

Excellent idea JR1!! And Cosette, that's a great theme!! JR1, how was the encyclopaedia?? ^_^ :flower:

^ It didnt really help me...but I was looking for the Renaissance period, and It came with some of these pictures...Before the Napoleon theme, I went through about 20 others including Marlene Dietrich/20's/60's/Reformation!

I'm so slow !! JR1, I love that period!! And the picture of Napoleon is very nice. Your design is very interesting..... I just love that big splash of red ^_^!!

I finished mines. My scanner down so I took pictures of the sketches. I was going for a Victorian type of Theme. Like during the Declaration of Independence Era. I wanted to have shades of peaches and purples. Overall I like it, not Love it.

I was inspired by Marie Antoinette, of course, and the way the socialites during the 1700s dressed, and a large influence of Juergen Teller's "Louis XV" photos is in this.

great pictures so far, Sieriyu - I love the colours you used, and the dress reminds me of Balenciaga and poesy I just love your silhouette! Its very simple but so effective

Thanks for the complements. Sorry the crappy quality and the line paper. I'll try and make it better for next week.

Poesy, I like your coloring and Sieriyu, yours seem very down to earth.

Here's mine, inspired by the women Toulous-Lautrec portrayed, 1890's.:flower:
