First of all, way to take a risk and break out the layout! What a clever way to tie in the theme and also to highlight the details seperately. The captions are hi-larious

and the cool superhero stuff designed the outfit is right on (a secret compartment in the platforms! I want!)... plus the stance of the figure really conveyed a powerful attitude. Overall, I love this entry, I wish I could get a closer look! It was a good thing you told me what the captions were!
Runway Scene I think it's a really cute outfit... but I'm afraid to say it seems like more of a secret-identity alter-ego outfit, or maybe a sidekick outfit than a superhero outfit that conveys superpowers. Captain Couture actually kind of looks like Robin. Being ironically corny and cliche (she saves the world from tacky cliches while being a tacky cliche herself) is a valid angle, potentially hilarious, but I think you could have exaggerated that a little more to make it work. Also, practicality and functionality are not an issue when designing superhero wear! I think you've got a good concept but you need to push your ideas further.
emma leigh Even though your picture is small I can see your superhero is full of action! Action positions are more challenging, and in this case I think the pose helps to make the cape seem more dramatic. I like how you picked a villain instead of a hero, it really makes yours stand out! I wish you'd named you supervillain and described her story a little more. The outfit really works too, it's very sexy and dramatic.
bob was here Aura is really cute! I love how you foreshortened a bit, kinda what I was trying to do too with Apparel Angel. Yet it still reads as a fashion image without obscuring the outfit, and still has a that comic book dynamism. The outfit is awesome and her superpowers clearly rock.
Sieriyu You did a great design in the face of much adversity - kudos! The little kimono effect is a very original idea but really connects with action, what with the popularity of martial arts and Asian influence in comic books these days, I think that is right on. Way to keep it short and insanely sexy! Superheroes have got the be sexy. I think perhaps a bit more detail might have made it even better, but it totally works as it is too. I can totally picture Poison ivy in tall shoes made of ivy... that look is really perfect for the superhero you chose. I think you did a great job.
It was so hard to choose! But I think in terms of tying together the theme, inventing a hero with awesome powers, a hot outfit, a creative layout, and for making me laugh the winner has got to be...
