INTRODUCTION: Time to rip some seams!!

THE CHALLENGE IS: Take apart this haute couture dress and make 3 pieces out of them. At least 2 of the pieces have to be clothing, and 1 piece can be an accesory. You can do more then 3 pieces but they must make up one complete look.

THINGS TO HAVE IN MIND: Considering this is couture, there is a also a lot of fabric to work with. You do not need to use all the colors. Use as much of as little as you need to use. Create anything to a gown, or a simple tee. The only thing is that it must be wearable.


(Feel free to ask any questions). You can't really go wrong on this challenge.)

My entry! as usual the colours didnt come just right... but as the fabric was given, you'll see which is wich, no?

very basic: a stiffy kimono-esque tuxedo jacket (the satin took hours and hours of ironing ), a black romantic blouse for which i used the black ruffles on the original gown and the head piece, a deep pink pencil skirt (note that the wrinkles on the front of the original dress are now on the back creating a much sexier, tight silhouette), i went a little wild with the brush on the legs and they ended up looking like covered on peep toe tights/leggings... i dont know if that counts as fabric that wasnt on the dress but i swear it was totally unplanned , and last but not least note that the soles of those gorgeous black pumps are blue. i actually didnt mean it to be that hue of cobalt, but baby-blue just like the bow on the dress.

ok here is the description of my entry:

I made a pink drees and used the black fabric in the top of the dress then added a little bit of the yellow one and all that goes on the blue lace and ends up in the back making a little bow, not as big as the original one, the yellow fabric was also used for the little purse, the shoes and the headband, the black one for the leggins and the decoration of the purse, finally the rest of the blue lace for the bottom of the shoes and a little for the headband!



BTW... when is the DEADLINE!!?!!? hahahhaha i want to know lol

You can make a gown, just try to encorporate more than just one color.
