Thigh high boots

I agree that most of the time thigh-highs come off very hookerish, usually because they have spindly heels, maybe a platform that is associated with strippers, and are made of cheap fabric.
But I won't lie, I love thigh high boots...heeled. Not too into flat boots period.

The ones on Cameron are beautiful! That's what I'm talking about.They look stylish and sexy without coming off trashy.I dunno why I always think of thigh high boots with heels maybe because that's how I saw them the first time I fell in love with them. And I'm not saying that flat ones are boring or anything but they're more like for everyday walks not for outings.

Dego, yes, i would in some cases considered a kneehigh boot "hookerish", especially if it was in glossy or patent leather and had a spiky heel. I still consider the last boot you posted, maybe both, "sl*tty", but i don't really think we're ever going to agree on this, so i'm backing out of the debate.

Uhm... uh... I guess you have a point, but there are go-to styles that some prostitutes wear to really show off their availability. Tacky thigh-high boots, short-short skirt, and a low-cut top is an example of those kinds of clothing. (Edit: I'm not saying these items shouldn't be worn--just saying if they aren't played right you can end up unintentionally associating yourself with those things).

Anyway, Sasha P.'s and Cameron's boots are very nice and subtle.

And those denim chanel thigh-highs... it's hilarious how ugly those things are.

The third pair in BeautifulStranger's post #14 are fantastic! Black suede turndowns, low spike heel, so chic and they seem as though they would be very comfortable. Suede usually stretches, though, so I'd be sure to have a really good fit if I bought them.

All the higher heeled boots would be good for a trampy club night with the right set, but that's not my speed at this point in my life. Also, I'd probably need someone's arm to lean on if I wore such glossy high thighs - I don't think I'd like that very much.

What would you wear with these boots?? I think that could make a huge difference.

thigh high boots, if worn, have to be worn very carefully as not to cross that line.
i love how they're used at the givenchy show. also, the thigh high boots worn with YSL's le smoking tux is classic IMO.
