i'm beginning to be freaked out by all of these fur/raccoon/fox tails appearing everywhere since louis vuitton last season.

what's interesting to me is seeing the raccoon tails diffuse upwards in fashion from street fashion (most predominantly with 'hipsters'/scenesters) and now recently haute fashion.

here, i don't like the tails or the use of fur trims.

Some of the pieces on their own are actually quite nice. I don't like the tails or overuse of fur in some outfits, but I do like his usual high water trousers, the gloves, few of the jackets & blazers & the shades.

WTH is this collection for....
the fur is dully placed

so ridiculous, i love it

is he on drugs by any chance?

What a comic relief, and a cheerful sight. Thom doesn't seem to run out of ideas and amazingly he's the couture king of men's fashion, but he doesn't it differently. Sometime in the near future I need to spectate his show in person, just to see the facial reaction of fellow people from the press.

I know it's supposed to be fun and everything, but I would really like to ask Thom someday "And what are you trying to say again?" Most of the pieces themselves are fine (the plain ones, generally) but the way he styles his shows angers me to no end. It's like he's mocking menswear for never changing, but then he's not doing anything to turn it in that direction either.

i think he's satisfied with how far he's changed the marketplace in the few years he's been here. between his initial collection, black fleece for brooks brothers, and his collaboration with moncler, he's pushed his very very directional vision -- what with ankle-bearing pants, short shorts, et al -- onto the wide wold of fashion. and everyone has followed suit to a certain degree. he has replaced dior homme in pushing the limits of what constitutes exceptional menswear. also, i think his styling continues to do what great styling sometimes does -- draw attention to each and every piece individually.

Umm...kind of speechless and not in a good way. Well, I like the colour palette at least :ninja:.
