Okay, a question that's been on my mind for the past FOREVER: Are thrift stores the equivalent of charity shops in Britain or are thrift stores sort of like, designer outlets ?

I think our version of thrift stores are charity shops however depending on the area said charity shop is in then the nicer stuff they tend to have in! If your after high end stuff then dress agencies are similar but with much higher pricing!

Yup thrift stores and charity shops ae pretty much the same. I'm off to look round loads of stores this week for home funishings and the like

yes, most thrift stores here have proceeds that go to charity, like salvation army, goodwill, etc.

Super pleased with this haul from Buffalo Exchange:
skirt (gap), grey Joe's Jeans (half off just because they'd been around for two months!) and 7 for all mankind jeans marked down because of some scuff on one of the hems. And the 7fam don't even need to be altered for shorty me.

I bought these boots today for $10. They reminded me of Ann Demeulemeester (the soles and the curved upper part) and they're super comfortable.
