I wish I had the nerve to try and "crash" a show. I'd be sooo nervous about looking like a fool in front of all the people there.

PS, If your a teenager reading this you have a better chance of getting into the shows. As long as you look young enough that you could have a parent in the show the security guards will not give you a second glance.

Ugh I wished I at least lived in NY.

Go to side entrance of the tents very early in the morning....the models will be going in for hair and make up.....bribe one to get you pass. They can tell the director by I need an extra pass for my mom, sister, brother, aunt,uncle etc.

I have no invites... helped last year at vauxhall fashion scout shows and therefore managed to get into the amanda wakeley show by getting an invite from a press guy who didn't want to use his. really fun!

I'd love to sneak into a show. I went by Bryant Park today, and have been for the past couple days whenever I get a break between classes but I never have the nerve to go in. I always think it's fun to just sit on the chairs and people watch but I've always wanted to go into those white tents.

I snuck into Marc Jacobs tonight. It was my first show and pretty amazing. I will put up some pictures tomorrow. Walked in with old invitations. When the security guards were yelling to see invitations in the mob of people walking in at 9, me and my buddy just waived them inconspicuously. I must say that though I've always been good at stuff like that, it was pretty easy. I may have been the best dressed dude there. At least top 5. I had on my new cashmere Lanvin blazer from the Barneys sale, Thomas Pink shirt, Purple Label tie, APC jeans, Prada belt and Bruno Magli boots. It was a very fun night and I would defenitly try it again.

Hmm. Sneaking in is a lot harder than I thought. I finally mustered some courage to go up today and I immediately got stopped and asked for a press pass. I told them I didn't have one and then they wanted an invitation. I tried every single entrance, and I even asked any and every guard about standing and they all said I need an invitation.
It made me feel so discouraged. I guess I'll just wait a couple more years until I get actual invites/passes etc.
