Yep TJ Maxx will be the best. I live near a Ross and to be honest nothing in there really interest me, the clothing is around or below mall-brand level. Everything looks like it was created for a woman in her late 60s (no offense, just saying the style).

I like TJ Maxx, but I prefer Marshall's. My TJM i've found:
Wolford Tights $10
Steve Madden shoes $7
Betsey Johnson Night Gown $5ish
Lots of Hard Candy and Urban Decay Makeup for $1 ea.
 
which one of the tk maxx stores in london have the best designer selection?
 
I've never been to TJ Maxx but I am going to the States in Jan. I plan on doing lot's of shopping! My friend was there a few months ago and she found the cutest Michael Kors bag abd BCBG shoes. The price was to die for!!!!

i mostly shop at TJ Maxx for the accessories and cosmetics these days, just because i don't have the patience to sift through the racks most days.

i found what became my favorite perfume there, marc jacobs ivy. i'm hoping i'll be able to find another bottle when this one runs out!

i also go there for socks. can't stand to pay full price for something as ordinary as socks. :p
 
Found some awesome Superfine jeans today for 20 Euros. Exactly what I was looking for and they fit perfectly. :D
 
I definitely find more things at TJ Maxx than Marshall's or Ross. At TJ Maxx, I've found a MBMJ cardigan and Helmut Lang blazer on clearance and my most luckiest find, Ray Ban wayfarers.
 
I never find anything at TJ Maxx, anything I like that is. I prefer Ross, I always find cute dresses there.
 
i just got back from tjmaxx and somehow managed to spend about $1000 :shock:

i went in with the purpose of buying a gift...
but only $50 of that was for the gift.... the rest i spent on myself :ninja:

I went in yesterday to use up a merchandise credit and bought a pair of Joe's Jeans for $20. I'm pretty pleased with it. Fits very nicely.
 
I must know, are the yellow stickers out again!!??

(Big bargain shopper here... it's mostly the only time I shop!)
 
i haven't seen any yellow stickers lately....

i started off with a nanette lepore top on clearance for $34 but things just spiraled from there...
picked up a pair of dolce & gabbana patent brown/burgundy high heeled loafers (with a goldish sort of mirrored metallic chunky heel) on clearance for $189
got a mackage winter coat in blk for $300

then went to the jewelry counter to find a gift and ended up picking out a pair of sterling silver/gold earrings for $129 and a white gold ring with diamonds on it for $250...
*and also bought a necklace for $50 for the gift

i think i might hand some of the stuff over to my parents to give me for christmas :p

I've honestly never looked at TJ Maxx's jewelry..
 
i'll try to take some pics when i get a chance...
i think i might return the shoes...
it will make me feel better to get some of my money back and they're not particularly comfortable...
