Tom Ford F/W 2026.27 Paris

I'm gagged.
This is aspirational to me because I want to be this person they portray on top of actually loving pieces and wanting to wear them. I loved, loved, loved it, messy choreography aside.

Only note is that I wish there were more evening wear options, more gowns. Other than that, Haider is settling in nicely. Top collection for me so far.

Edited to add : AGAIN, I am so gagged !!!!!!! Also @LadyJunon, me and AV are both wigless for different reasons. 😂 I love fashion again !

I didn’t particularly enjoy it, to be honest. Compared to Haider Ackermann’s other offerings, it is the one I find least compelling. Everything felt so chaotic and confusing, both in the dresses and in the choreography, that despite it all I still found myself appreciating some of the pieces. A few garments, moreover, exuded a genuine sense of luxury.

fashion should be a performance, or else it isn't transmitted clearly or artistically, it is shown as material to buy. but when true performance and theatrics get involved in the collections, even for ready-to-wear ones, even when it is subtle or light, it creates the biggest difference. if this collection was shown on a regular runway, we would not have understood the true intention of the pieces.
I love tom ford so much because it is pure performance, but still light, still up for interpretation. this is how it all should be.

clothes exist in the context, they reflect it, and that is what fashion is.

Oh this is good. The ever-expanding cast of clones/replicants/blade runners in the leanest and sharpest of cuts— even the ruffles look razor-sharp, is so good. And that choreography perhaps taken from Hedi’s Dior Hommes with a phalanx of models walking out together at varying paces, just adds to how striking the collection is. Just capture stills from the show for the campaign and we’re good.

3 shows in, and he’s going from strength to strength to strength.

effort has been made..... besides mess choreography makes me want to have a second look.....unless other shows i didn't even finished half way or never rewatched

he is giving demna how to do tom ford it will only help demna improve lol wait you see 1..2....3...

He won!
Stunning!
It’s a pity we don’t have a store in Paris, Zegna people!

It was quite a fantastic, surprising and captivating presentation.

There was something a bit haunting, unsettling about the beginning, then a bit of American Psycho’s Bateman non? The unexpected denim/texan part quite reminiscent of Tom’s personal style and then a lighter mood but still glamorous.

I love the presentation because it doesn’t feel gimmicky and even when he is showing a lot of products (bags, eyewear, flowers), that models gets to change and switch make-up…Everything works wonderfully!

Insane tailoring! I mean the whole suit with the shawl collar! The pinstripes suit with the orchid boutonnière, the few Redcarpet numbers! It was stunning from beginning to end!
Mature, desirable, luxurious!

Parfait! Best show of the season for me…
It’s a pity that I don’t expect much from the campaign lol.

Bravo Haider!

Show of the season once again! Absolutely incredible. Those clothes were dripping with luxury and sex appeal. I actually loved the pace of the presentation, you took your time to savor each look.

This is more YSL in spirit than what Vaccarello has been doing.

There's always something so pleasing about seeing tailoring that sharp and precise, even if it borders on stiff. It's really the true star of his Tom Ford. Everything is secondary, imo. I'm kind of obsessed!

The denim looks, though... didn't need to happen.

Not as strong as his previous work so far. It's a little too reliant on the styling, but it's still a very solid collection. He does the Tom Ford KINK very well.

Very fabulous

The highs were high and the stuff that didn't quite work (the PVC, the diagonal hip strings, the denim styling, the biker laces) were understandable.

What I liked most I think was that he finally was able to resolve a pet peeve of mine when it comes to the Tom Ford brand- the men's department is luxury casual daywear and formal eveningwear but the women's was heavily fashion eveningwear. Here he made the men's and women's fashionable luxury for day and evening. I loved Yasmin's all white look and Laura Ponte and the other model's neo banker look as suggestions for day. Hopefully they will be able to convince others you have other options than The Row for "the perfect sweater" or any other basics.

The eyewear is great also and the bags seem like they're improving, but why was Saskia clutching onto what looked like an iPad sleeve for dear life lol
