Most of it looks a bit like oligarch's wife wardrobe (probably they are the only ones that can afford this), but I still can see some gems.

I like the shoes though, the ones with the ribbons, they remind me of probably the first piece of designer stuff that i really coveted, some sandals he created for Gucci back in the day. I actually went to the store and try them on just for the pleasure of it.

is it just me but i see a lot of the elements from this collection similar to those old collections he did for gucci.

The trousers for that high-gloss blue satin suit look as if they are bursting as the seams they're so tight, a la Olivia Newton John, Grease.

I don't think his collection is that over priced, i think its on par with the likes of Gucci or Vuitton, Chanel is far more over priced than he is, i think his accessories are but purely for the fact he's used the most luxurious leathers (i.e. Crocodile) but his shoes aren't, just my two cents on the matter.

I think the collection is gorgeous, a mild dose of bias there but some pieces do remind me abit of mutton dressed as lamb but 80% of it looks great, especially the tuxedo and the biker jackets.

I'm not blown away by this collection but I do like the purple looks and the black strapless dress with the feathers. It's certainly nothing groundbreaking that he has never done before but it's beautiful and it will sell.

Well it's not bad and there are some standout pieces......the white trouser suit and the black trouser suit with the tuxedo.
Rather incohesive though, with no obvious style and some of the dresses look like Resort too.
Rehashed Gucci shoes, but he can do that whenever he wants because they are always gonna work and lots of luxurious, sexed up, vintage Ford looks.

I like the white suit and... that's pretty much it. The rest seems extremelly dated and looks like it's trying too hard to be sexy. I find it quite vulgar, actually. It's too much of everything. But I guess it's what his clientèle expects from him...

Hmmm, some pieces are hit and misses. I know this has been his aesthetic before but it reminds me of old 70's YSL mixed with Peter Dundas's Pucci. I like the tiered ruffled pieces and that shiny zip front dress the most.

I really don't get why is he always keeping his collections as a secret like they are something special while they are not  I am sure that this collection will sell good cause it's Tom Ford, but I am also sure that I, personally wouldn't buy it. Collection is fine and pretty, but boring and nothing special really.

Do not like too much this collection.
Reminds me a little bit to Gucci SS 11.

And again I totally forgot there was any Tom Ford collection this season.

Most of these look so overdone and dated, it's like he still was in his 2000's reign. I'm liking four or five black pieces in post #4, but that would be all, really.

very gucci indeed. was it worth the long wait? yes, probably. but i'm not over-whelmed by it.....

I agree with this 100%. And it's the same issue I had with his FW11 collection.

Lets be honest here, if this didn't have the Tom Ford name attached to it, nobody would've given it a time of day.
