Toni Garrn

I don't think she's helping for attention, she doesn't seem to be that kind of person. She's very insecure in all the interviews and press events, I don't think she really wants that much attention. And let's be honest: helping is never out of altruism only. It makes you feel better in the first place.

#543:
She really doesn't speak clear, I agree. When I was trying to translate the interview, I often had to watch sentences a couple of time to figure out what she was trying to say. Also, she never finishes sentences, she talks very fast and it almost seems as if she had forgotten where her sentence started once she's reached the end of it. I don't blame her though, she doesn't have to be a media pro.

#549:
I'm not trying to overanalyze and I still like her a lot, and judging from her Instagram and Twitter she really does have a very fine sense of humour, it just doesn't show in the interview. There's something in the way she says certain things that seems arrogant and puts me off. Like, at the very beginning when they talk about hair and make up and she says 'congrats', she probably wants to be friendly, but it comes across as 'congrats. once in your life you have managed to not look ugly as hell'. I can't put my finger on it, I just think if she wants to make people donate money for her project, she needs to work on this. Also, we've had this discussion since the beginning of her career, it's really not something new.

^Ah thanks, as for the backstage interview, she really takes herself not too serious.

^Quick Translation:

I'm allergic to...
Lactose. I can't stand dairy and my favorite thing in the world is almond milk, I always have it with me while traveling. Sounds like a diva, and maybe that's how it is. [really hard to get what she's trying to say, probably; I'm a little diva when it comes to dairy?]

Last time I was approached by a fan and wasn't prepared for it
I was in a restaurant in hamburg and we were talking about a lot of private things for an hour, lots of people were around us, but I'm always so happy to see my friends, so I talked a lot, and there was a girls' table next to ours, I had an eye on it, but nobody looked at us, and after an hour when I really had told everything and had absolutely opened up, they came over and wanted to have an autograph. And I thought: Oh my, people, so you can write a nice little article about me... No, it was cute, but I really hadn't anticipated it, normally you realize it before.

This test of courage really didn't work...
Uhm...we were in the Caribbean and we climbed on a rock. All 20 teenagers, super fit, climbed on this 10 meter rock and jumped down and were waiting for me in a wonderful open pool and looked up to me and were like 'Come on, Toni', but I was so afraid, I just couldn't do it, so I had to climb back to a 2,5 meter high rock and jumped down from there. When I had finally done it, everybody had already swum away like 'She's such a loser'.

My cell phone number is...
I really don't know the german one, no kidding. The english one is really simple.

That's why I always had trouble with mum...
Because I didn't turn off the lights. She was very strict. She was yelling from the third floor like a mad woman: 'Antoooniaaa, the lights are still on'. And I went upstairs and she was sitting right next to light switch, but she wanted me to do it myself. That's how I learned it.

If I could trade lives with somebody, it would be...
No, I'm so happy, I don't want to trade lives.

Which 3 songs put an end to every party?
'I will always love you'...I could immediately cry and go to bed. 'Sex bomb' is a really bad song, too. In general, everything that's a bit sad, how's it called? 'Goodbye lover'? By James Blunt? I could immediately ***********.

Favorite tool from your childhood
I had this huge doll, with a big head, I also used it as a tool to be violent to my brother a bit, I think he was very afraid of these dolls, because their heads were so hard.

Your first love letter?
I think that was at a camp in Ohio when I was eleven, with CISV, that's an organization from Hamburg I find awesome, Children's International Summer Villages, I was there for a month. And a little Brazilian wrote me a love letter, I don't even know if I ever replied to it, but I will never forget it, it was so cute and he was so little.

Joker: What I've always wanted to say in an interview
Don't believe everything people tell you in an interview, it might be a lie, and I'm a big fan thereof. [Translation is a little weird, she means: Maybe I lie all the time in interviews, who knows.]

I just saw an article in the german gala. Toni at the public view for the game Brasil - Germany and somehow she managed it to be looking bored. Toni!! That was such an exciting game!!!

well, it got kind of boring after the 5:0 though.

She has an interview in German Grazia that will be out tomorrow, here is a summary:

I have no time to translate it now, but the to most important pieces of information:
She will spend the whole july in LA doing nothing. (I feel like except for the last couple of week, she spent almost her whole year doing nothing, but well...)
Aaaand: According to this article she got the Mango campaign! :woot:

The recently turned 22-year-old model was seen leaving Goal Sports Cafe in Los Angeles on Tuesday after reportedly watching the World Cup semi-final match between Germany and Brazil.
The Calvin Klein model was dressed comfortably as she showed off her enviably slim figure in a pair of patterned tights and sleeveless shirt for the outing.
No doubt the German-born model was pleased with the result as the German football team routed the home team by a score of 7-1.
Toni teamed the gym ready outfit with a pair of seafoam green-coloured Nike trainers as she made her way toward her black vehicle.
The blonde beauty had her locks up in a messy bun and seemed to have minimal make-up on her face as she covered it with a pair of large sunglasses.
