are you kidding me, i can't wait to go back to england and spend spend spend haha :)

I quite like that Frankenstein horror body thing :ninja:

And the beaded mini skirt is definately drool-worthy!

disfordangerous- I love that faux fur coat [at least I hope it's faux...] but i'm sure they'll be charging an arm and a leg for it when you can get something the same vintage for about £20

Oh I know, I remember there was a similar one last year, it was about £120. D:
I've tried loads of vintage ones on though and there all hugggeee on me. :(

Love the fur coat and mostly everything Caroulemapoule posted! I still love studding!

I used to love Topshop, but it's so common over here. You can leave the house and see at least several other people wearing the same thing as you, I hate it, it's anything but individual. Topshop dresses the masses in the UK, not so much in the US understandably, but it's irritatingly common now.

Edit:

I bought this beauty the other day, hoping to add shoulder pads, wear my new Louboutin's and a blazer with it so it'll look less Topshop and more designer.

^^That is a lovely dress :flower:

I think the thing about Topshop is all about styling - you make it individual. Also, I think its all about buying the right pieces. There are some things that if they get certain publicity or extremely trend driven are everywhere and on everyone. I don't "do" trend dressing, so I tend to avoid the excessively trendy items anyway

yes or items that they stock everywhere

the ones that sell out quickly i tend not to see people wearing them here probably more in london though

Thanks, I'll take pictures when it arrives; shoulder pads and all!

I agree, I guess I'm just put off by how I've spent £50 on an item, have worn it out and then have seen so many other girls wearing it. It's off putting, I know Topshop does cater for the masses, but everyone wants to feel individual to a degree. I don't do trend dressing either, I like the Topshop basics i.e. the blazer I posted, I also love the Balmain inspired dress, only problem being that it'll be everywhere. :( Ha, maybe if I wear it, and everything else designer, then people will think it's Balmain; I wish I could just buy Balmain, boooo.

Oh dear lord. I'm not even kidding I've been to 4 diffrent Topshops today trying to find that bloody dress and I had no look what so ever.:angry: I'm shattered now!

SlotheL, I know! Seems like everyone owns one of the floral pieces from Topshop, so i really do avoid shopping at my local store and stick to online buying as my shop always stocks the tacky stuff

It sucks doesn't it. In the US the well dressed celebrities endorse Topshop, the 'it' icons, whereas we're stuck with Lily Allen and bloody Katie Moss who just never seems to disappear (boo). I'm fed up with the floral peplum dresses, the lace and crochet dresses, the bodycon skirts (handy, but EVERYONE has them) and those ridiculous 80's prints.

Fair enough, some of the Topshop stock is nice, wearable to say the least but a lot of it has taken a long and eventful trip down tacky lane. I guess I'll stock up soon on the nice pieces on the website before they sell out, my local Topshop sucks too. It sucks big time!

stotheL- haha I agree, loads of it is so tacky. They have to cater for the chavs though ;) probably 30% of their customers are chavs. Lol, Katie Moss ;)

And the Concessions cater to the chavs well, especially the Rare sale where everything's a tenner. My chavvy ex-housemate stocked up on a load of lurid bandage dresses from there, was amazed she even walked into Topshop.
